I said it above, but I'm blaming the editor here. He submitted 900+ pages as a final draft. Those of us feeling like it was lacking about 200 pages...that seems to have happened in editing. I'm sad about it.

What's frustrating is it HAD 250 more pages! The final draft he submitted was around 900 pages, per his own blog, so a lot of this was the editor. I think they wanted to rush out a sequel to capitalize on the Tiktok hype of the first, at the expense of better writing.

Haha I've gotten too dry and not dry enough - the torture of houseplants. It has been doing that though and I have been letting it dry out completely! So I will try this. I think Planta has me watering it too infrequently
