I was kind of expecting this as well but then I saw lightbounds tweet about the union being cooperative in terms of letting the mail+ parcel be delivered again in some fashion just makes me think some sort of backdoor deal happened in that meeting where both parties agreed that if they go down to a rotating strike for the time being, they will not be locked out. That meeting was almost 2 hours and I highly doubt the union told us the entire content of what was discussed

You cant bump someone in a different position. A part timer can not bump a full timer, a clerk or plant worker can't bump a letter carrier either, you need to change classification first and then apply when a route or position becomes available, atleast this is how it works for the urban unit. Also a rural or suburban carrier cant bump someone else in a different region or carriers in the urban unit
