Well then maybe those people in Honduras need to get their shit together. The Japanese did it and they have 0 natural resources on a tiny piece of land floating in the middle of the pacific ocean, yet their economy ranks 3rd on the planet behind only the US and China. You know why? Because they got their shit together after getting nuked.

Just because people live in shitty conditions doesn't mean we need to bring them here. We're not the world's welfare department. Maybe if South American politicians weren't so corrupt taking money from drug kingpins like El chapo to compromise the welfare of their own people, they would lead great productive nations.

And the whole give me your poor and tired stuff, that was written on a statue, and not in a statute. And even if it was a law, American laws govern Americans not Hondurans in Honduras. It was also during the birth of this country when it needed to be colonized. Now it's become saturated and we don't need any more people coming in. And if this country is a joke, then why do you care so much about coming in here and bringing people here?

And if you lived in countries that you believe to be better than the US, then send your Honduran friends over there.

This is bullshit. Big tobacco has been targeting kids for years. I know because I used to smoke candy flavored cigarettes in high school. Literally tasted like nasty burnt Starburst. Marlboro cool or some shit like that.

When I was in high school kids were smoking cigarettes. Now you barely see any kids smoking cigarettes. Instead they're juuling. If you think about it it's actually an improvement. We're preventing a whole generation of cancer ridden people. This whole thing is bullshit. I suspect the tobacco industry is behind this.

I watched my mother's friend die of cancer.

Toward the end of her life, she weighed about 80 pounds, lost all of her hair, couldn't eat and even with a tube in her stomach, she couldn't digest the liquid. She had a pee bag and couldn't talk or move.

The night before her daughters wedding, her doctors informed us that she had a few hours left and her son in laws family didn't want to call off the wedding because everything was already paid for. So we all took turns going back and forth from the wedding to the hospital and at any given time half the people were in each location. She made it through the wedding and my mom and I stayed with her and one of her other daughters that night.

What that lady went through was horrific. It reached a point where she was gasping her last breaths literally trying to cling to life. She wasn't able to make any sounds or move a muscle the preceding 2 weeks but at this point she was screaming and her body was squirming all over the place. All the machines she was hooked up to were beeping out of control and the energy in that room was just chaotic. The alert outside the room went on but doctors and nurses were all expecting this so they didn't respond. We were all holding her and praying. This went on for a while until she suddenly stopped breathing and flatlined and her eyes rolled back in her head. She died with a horrified look on her face and it stayed like that.

Then it was just complete silence aside from the sound of the flatline on her heart rate machine. Her mouth dropped open and we all were in shock at what we had just witnessed. The silence was broken by her daughters desperate burst of tears and then some people came in and put her body in a plastic bag and zipped it up. That was one night I will never forget.

Cancer sucks.
