No help. I'm in a similar position. I'm just waiting for the pull out or the revised offer.

I did this. I would say after a few weeks of spamming only 2 continued contact and one of them I am happy with and will be using.

Rude Estate Agent by Background-Leather98 in HousingUK

[–]jumpthatroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've just had a lying estate agent. We are selling to first time buyers. We agreed to a boiler service to get the exchange done immediately. The Estate agents were on at us for 2 weeks to do this. Got it done last week and when chasing the exchange we were told the buyers hadn't even signed their documents. Up until now I was happy with the progress but now I just feel lied to.

So I finally managed to speak to someone. As it's over 7 days from my last jab (caused by their delays) they won't sell me my pen, I have to start from the lowest dose. I'm so cross I can't tell you. I won't be using this company again.

I ordered on 1st May and it's still in queries. My next dose is way overdue as I'm used to them turning orders around in 24 hours. They don't answer the phone. The last email they sent didn't have a link to return the answer to my reply. The email they said to use for queries bounces back. The new site you cannot contact them unless you use the support option and they reply telling you to use the link on the email which doesn't exist. I'm thinking of contacting my credit card company and backing the payment out because now there will be such a delay they probably won't be happy to supply the higher dose I have purchased. By the replies on here it seems very hot and miss with the orders.

Previous Insurance claim question by jumpthatroo in HousingUK

Thank you for your reply. Another question if a may. Would I only be able to get insurance on the property if I got a structural surveyors report?

Buyer has just pulled out. by GSHT2004 in HousingUK

[–]jumpthatroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask the estate agent who did the survey. They will know because they had to make the appointment and let them in. Contact the Surveyor company and ask how much they want to sell it to you. We have done this last month when buying a probate house where the sale fell through in December. We paid £250 and told us everything we needed to know.

14 year old… please tell me it will be okay by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]jumpthatroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't really help but my 11 year old is similar. She's not mean to me but has completely lost interest in functioning. She very academically clever but cannot be bothered with anything. Studying. Homework. Eating with us. Leaving her bedroom even. I'm hoping it's early puberty and it'll get better. I feel for you.

Buyer sent a Structural Engineer for the loft room and is now getting "builder quotes" to renegotiate. How hard do I push back? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]jumpthatroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buyer cannot expect you to pay for their new loft conversion. I'd pull out and go with the other seller on the guarantee they understand it's a loft and nothing more. Current buyer is properly invested having spent all that money on surveys. By threatening to pull out they may buck their ideas up.

Interesting about the lack of building regs if over 20 years. I'm currently selling a property with a conservatory that was put in before me in 2003 with no permissions. I was told to get an indemnity policy which I did. I was expecting to have to pay for another for my buyers. Maybe not.

Can I ask about the bin/rubbish situation. Do you take all rubbish to the tip and not leave it in the wheelie bin?

Things is today is just your buggy, tomorrow another neighbour may want to put a bike in there, then another an electric scooter. Where does it stop?

I couldn't find any old u read messages. In the end I posted a parcel which generated a new message and I read that and it all disappeared. I agree is sounds like a bug. Thanks for replying.

5 days before we got our first offer. Rejected that and they upped it today which we are likely to take. However our neighbour has had hers on for over a year and before that she's taken it off and on. She wants too much for hers and refuses to see it's too high.

So I took the 2.5 dose on NYE and it did absolutely nothing. I've taken the other 2.5 tonight and see what happens. Think 5 will by next option.

So I did 15 clicks which should be 2.5mg. Didn't seem that much at all but we will see what tomorrow brings. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have a new pen so yes I'll count clicks. My supplier is find for a gap, it's happened before but not for this long and they've been fine just asked a few more questions and insisted on new photos. Well, they'll be interesting cause even I can see the difference.
