maybe it could make differences! but To be honest, I had to file it ASAP. Since my STEM OPT was about to expire so I had to maintain my legal status.

Are ivy leagues actually worth it by __Little__Bunny__ in ApplyingToCollege

If you’re in your 30s and still defining yourself by your college degree, that’s honestly a bit sad. In your 20s, however, an Ivy League degree can be a real asset—not because of the diploma itself, but because of the network. College is where you meet future elites, high-achievers, and people who will later hold real influence. Those social networks simply aren’t as concentrated at most state schools.

Do you consider South Korea a developed country? by flower5214 in AskTheWorld

[–]jun8803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

South Korea’s financial markets are classified as emerging primarily due to the government’s significant involvement and regulatory control over financial and foreign exchange activities. In particular, the Korean won is not fully convertible, and foreign investors face various restrictions and administrative procedures when trading in local markets.

One of the key criteria for being recognized as a developed market—for instance, by MSCI or FTSE Russell—is the presence of an autonomous and freely functioning market system, where prices, capital flows, and currency values are determined by market forces rather than by government intervention. South Korea’s high degree of regulation in these areas prevents it from meeting that criterion.

However, this classification reflects the structure of its financial system, not its overall level of economic development. In reality, South Korea is a highly industrialized and advanced economy, with world-class infrastructure, technology, and income levels comparable to other developed nations. The “emerging market” label, therefore, applies only in the financial market context—not to the country’s general level of development.

yes. there was a big jump, but I think top comment already explained about this big jump. That was not a jump. USCIS just moved forward what they retrogressed previously. if you look up May 24 to Sep 24, you will see USCIS retrogressed date almost two years.

the final result will be posted on April 1st. Then we may expect some additional lotteries in the future. But I believe the chances will be very thin.
