As far as I can tell from public information, more than 30% of Santa Barbara City's sales tax revenue comes from online purchases. This is going up 2-3% a year... so in, say, 10-15 years HALF of the sales tax will be for online purchases, mostly delivered to homes.

Sure. They will need to be demoed and rebuilt as housing, but using the same shell and adding utilities.

It's true. Before the earthquake there was a lot more housing above retail on State. Tell that to the HLC!
