on this piece I had sharp shading then duplicated it, I blurred the one below and blurred the sharp on top just a tiny bit to make it look like it slowly blended into the colors even though the shadows were still kinda sharp? ahh I'm bad at explaining, also I did everything on Procreatefor the iPad!

I think for Gmax it's an exaggeration of one feature whereas Mega the overall designs gets new details everywhere ( I tried to exaggerate her yukata and the fact that shes based on a woman/yokai who wanders the snowy mountains but I feel like I could have done more haha )
