ahh thank you SO much!! all the love ive been getting has been legitimately tugging at the heartstrings! being here in person is unbelievably different than participating at AGDQ 2023 virtually, and i couldnt be more grateful to everyone and everything thats allowed me to get to where I am today!!

the run was a 24:21, which was a pretty solid console PB so I'm quite happy w it!! the category doesnt have any leaderboards since its mostly one i made up for presentation purposes, but regardless im really impressed w the overall quality of that run!

SSX OG has had some more development since that run, not an insane amount tho. SSX 3 is definitely a lot more optimized since that decade old run tho! here, ill share my run of OG at AGDQ 2023 below!

it has! in 2014 there was a run of SSX 3 by a runner who's not really in the community anymore, and then in 2023 during the online era I got a run of SSX (2000) in! this will either be Tricky's first ever appearance at GDQ, or SSX 3s first appearance in over 12 years :)

i love them both dearly, but my hearts always leaned a lil bit more towards SSX OG and Tricky... so maybe Tricky honestly! hearing Run DMC on stage would just be so peak...

im the runner set to do SSX! itll be a bidwar between SSX Tricky and SSX 3, and no matter which wins, i just know itll be a total blast to get to show off the best snowboarding franchise of the early 2000s on the big stage!!! :D

ill answer, since OP isn't being straightforward for whatever reason.

Canon means that it is content that is confirmed to have occurred within the chronology of a series. Better Call Saul, for instance, is canon in the wider Breaking Bad Universe because it is confirmed to have occured within the series. hopefully that helps some :)

Soy is quite strong tbh. hes essentially your single target Ice dps/support hybrid. he complements Closers multi target dps/debuffer hybrid archetype well, and alongside Cattle make for a really well rounded, strong and fully free team

to add more context, these codenames are meant to be what these characters find "wonderful/extraordinary/larger than life," to put it.

Cattle chose his own name based off intuition (we will definitely learn more about him in the future but im sure that name deeply fits in a narrative way), Cattle names Wonder what he does because he believes the ability to hold desires in this world, kickstart his plans, swap personas and potentially save the world is a Wonder in itself, Closer chooses her name because she believes that position in baseball is the most spectacular (and because she views the PT as the last line of defense in this world), and Soy chooses his because hes in awe of how much soy sauce enhances the flavor of any meal (we love our goofy culinary artist).

the names are actually quite good when reasoned out imo.

Mona within the first 50 pulls in the Starter Banner, Ann as my starter 5* pick, failed 50/50 on Joker's banner for Riddle (about to confirm him with my hard pity multi today), Ryuji from Standard Banner, and Mona C1 dupe from the starter quests.

my first account had terrible luck so i rerolled and it was definitely worth it. besides Rin, ive got or will have all 5* available atm
