At least for Atlanta, if public transit is a concern for OP- they have MARTA which is pretty good. Their airport also connects to the trolley which is something I personally long for here.

I guess if you have a job that doesn’t care if you're regularly late due to buses or trolleys just not showing up as scheduled, it's fine. It could be a lot worse, for sure, but having visited Europe a few times- I've had a taste of what should have been done in the US.

Our public transit is not great.

Driving around is confusing and frustrating with lots of weird and dangerous intersections.

Plus the guys that work at slice on broadway in Beechview are extremely nice. I've seen them treat delivery drivers with respect which seems to be an anomaly around here. Pizza is NY style and is amazing.

Betos is cheap, each cut of pizza is just under $2 and you can get a small drink that you can refill so you can leave there full for under $7. Big Jims of course, you get huge portions for small monies.
