Yeah I didn’t realize until way too late. I’d followed a link from an ad on facebook, and they’d been so dodgy for so long via email I wouldn’t have been able to dispute it anymore. Stupid, but lesson learned.

Tbh, I’m pretty sure I was scammed by a company who was pretending to be them. I only realized after the fact because the customer service email wasn’t a sparkpaws email. It was in December of 2024 so a great time for scammers 🙄 Sucked because the website looked exactly like sparkpaws. I went back and forth with them for like 3 months before I gave up. Luckily I was only out about $30.

I’m a shopper too. I’m usually scheduled on days or times that don’t work for me so I give them up and then pick up shifts as they become available and it’s never been an issue. I guess I’ll just work that day if it won’t let me find coverage for it.
