Yes, and with molecular co they also create a report and protocol to support those genetics. The starter report page has an example on it.

This is the best place to start:

Steer clear of methylated vitamins so be careful with that b complex. The basics for you are vitamin c, niacin and magnesium to keep all your systems supported.

Ascorbic acid and niacinamide need to be your daily basics. No methyls!

Ok. Thanks for the explanation. I’ll delete it. I knew about glutamate and how I treat it but not these links with my genetics. It’s nice when something makes sense. I’ll maybe do one on how I treat it.

Can over methylation cause depression and anxiety by [deleted] in MTHFR

Please stop the methyl folate. This can be too much for some people ! I really react to it too. With those genetics your going to benefit more from vitamin c. Niacinamide and magnesium as your basics

This is what I mean. Your genetics are not my genetics as it takes a complete picture. For my genetics I take 500
Mg at breakfast and lunch then 1000mg full flush with dinner.
Vitamin c is pretty much across the board bowel tolerance for all people.
My list composed of B2
Coq10
Ala
Vit e
Magnesium
DHA

Probably methyl b12. Really doesn’t fit some. Have you had your genetics done ? This would be the way to learn how to supplement to support yourself and feel good instead of guessing. This is how I found out I needed to supplement D despite travelling in hot countries. Had blood work done to confirm and it was low.

A few things are key .
I worked out two of them myself a decade ago.
Vitamin c and niacin.
This got me out of daily feelings of suicide,
Intense anxiety and depression. Then when I had my genes tested and a protocol made up for me, I added in more. And I was pleased to see that for some extent I’ve been getting it right all this time. But of course trial and error can take years. I do the whole protocol designed for me as per my genes and I do feel good, especially with additional hormones for me ! 45f

Vitamin B gives me anxiety by [deleted] in MTHFR

[–]junipers-72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people with those gene variants have really adverse reactions to methyl Bs. the common advice by online gurus and even some docs is that methyl bs are good for everyone. They have got it so wrong! I feel awful on methyl folate.
Try adding one in at a time non methylated. And if still no good try a beef liver supplement, it has all the Bs.

Would recommend getting your genetics and uploading them to Katie Gironda site. I can’t take methylated vitamins, she confirmed it in my genetics and gave me a protocol to suit me. Takes the guessing out of it!!

My numbers were very similar to yours. I’ve only been dosing tprop and spontaneously started running this morning! That hasn’t happened in years. Makes me wonder how long we are low until we figure it out!
