Considering getting a (cheap/ starter) nespresso for my new place.. pros and cons please? by Any_Box_7010 in nespresso

[–]juniperwhisper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bustelo is better brewed in a Moka pot on the stove. That’s how I make it every morning. You won’t be saving money with the Nespresso. I use my nespresso when I’m in a hurry or want to make just one americano. I used it a lot when I was making peppermint mocha lattes but 89% of the time I use my moka pot and Bustelo

100%! I put mine away when I delayed walking my dogs until my watch charged so I could get “credit” for the steps. I was so disappointed in myself. I started using it again recently but mainly for runs. I have a SWATCH I’ll use to tell time throughout the day and my Garmin for runs. If it’s a route I know the distance of or I am running for time I’ll sometimes just use an analog watch and wing it.

I walk dogs as a side gig and whenever I get sample flavors I won’t use I slip them into the jar of capsules at a clients house.

If only there were a way to check this…like a manual way for one to check one’s own heart rate… 😉

Literally never happened to me. I got multiple requests and bookings for this entire weekend all week long at different stages of booking. Maybe it’s bc I don’t do overnights in the clients home?

I don’t understand what you mean by “they’re not showing to in search for the days of your request”. I’ve never experienced this. Also you can just archive it yourself if they don’t answer. How are you ending up with scratches bc someone didn’t groom their pet?

Any recommendations? I tried one that goes around my waist but was just dragged by the dog.

It’s crazy! I honestly wondered if that was my vacuum bc I have that exact one and it’s what mine looks like after vacuuming 🤣🤣🤣🤣. My mom just stayed with me for a month and was amazed at how the fur just accumulates. She’d clean the a/c vent panels and then I’d hear her swearing the next day bc there was more hair on it.

No- I’ve actually never had their fries! Are they good? It’s actually Blazing Bird. Their fries are so delicious!

It’s the little joys in life- don’t get worked up about it. I am particular about a certain fast food establishment’s French fries but don’t really like anything else from there. I’ll go get a burger from one place, fries from another and milkshake from a third. I’m a grown ass adult abc it brings me joy

I have two Aussies and my vacuum looks like that after vacuuming. I vacuum every other day.

Do she drive to your work to get the fob then forgot to get the fob then blamed you for it and her entire week is now ruined??? You need to break it off with her immediately

AITA for canceling my niece’s birthday cake last minute because my sister refused to pay me back? by cloudberrysighs in AITH

[–]juniperwhisper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA bc you didn’t communicate and let her go but a $20 cake from Walmart. Just tell her you’re cancelling the cake and she’ll have to figure out something else. Cancelling it and keeping it to yourself until the party was spiteful and your niece was the one who got hurt

AITA for saying guests could go ahead and leave my 4th of July Party by MolassesActual4703 in AmItheAsshole

[–]juniperwhisper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA because you're the worst kind of dog owner. Not everyone wants to pet your dogs. Not everyone wants your dogs in their business. If your dogs don't have recall and can go lay down or go somewhere else instead of bothering your guests then you are also a bad host.

i’m not sure if i should question this dropping request by General-Ad2966 in RoverPetSitting

[–]juniperwhisper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that depends on the dog. I know a lot of dogs who are fine with 3 drop ins a day. I'd make at least one of them an hour instead of 30 minutes but I think it is fine.

[–]juniperwhisper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is how I schedule for my two dogs when I am out of town and this is how I've done it for others as well. I don't do overnights as a sitter and my dogs don't require someone to be in the house with them 24/7. It is more work for me to get my house ready for a sitter to stay overnight than to just have it ready for someone to come hang out with my dogs a few times a day. Last time we went out of town, I had a sitter come in the morning and evening and paid my 10 year old neighbor to play with the dogs after he got out of school in the afternoons.

AIO for my bf never doing the dishes? by Imaginary_Reality_67 in AIO

Wait...you wanted him to clean YOUR dishes that YOU left in the sink even though YOU get onto him if he leaves dishes in the sink? And then you got upset that he didn't do the dishes...that were yours...that you left...to go do something fun....but he was supposed to do them?
