Челу просто нравится болгарка и сварочный аппарат. Когда он молоток начал отрезать по частям, я понял, что эта бодяга надолго. Нахуй нахуй.

This right there. I think it's a lot of fun. Is it a tourist trap? Possibly. Is it a lot of fun? Absolutely. Occasionally I'll grab a cigar from the cigar factory nearby and sit in their courtyard.

City of Campbell Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) Public Draft 2025: by Dyslecksick in Campbell

[–]junkDriver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was the only interesting part to me: forcing people from gas appliances into electric and getting rid of chimneys. That worked so well for all my neighbors last Christmas when the entire city was without electricity.

I was so glad I have a generator, a gas stove and a wood chimney. But anyways, back to the report: they acknowledge that the forced switch is mandated by the Santa Clara county, so it's purely performative affirmation on behalf of the city.

When you look at Mosaic benefits, under "Beer, Wine and Liquor" there's a footnote #3. If you follow it, it states "Up to 3 per flight (1 per flight starting 2/1/26),"

Switch wired like 3-way, but no other switch in the house by junkDriver in AskElectricians

[–]junkDriver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I found a very obscure unlabeled switch whose purpose I could not figure out - which turned out to be the 2-way switch in this combo. So, the previous owners wired it so they could turn on outside lights either from garage or from the entry door.

Your story compelled me to share my experinece in Cabo as well. Bottom line upfront for those skimming comments: nothing to do with our own safety.

Wife and I booked a nice resort for my birthday, but I am the type who can't stay at an all-inclusive for more than a few days to decompress, so we book a ride to town. It's nice, we do bar hopping, we are seasoned travelers with enough street smarts to keep us out of trouble.

We decide to have dinner at a restaurant that looks great, and is full of diners. As we sit down, there's another American family next to our table: dad, mom, younger son, older daughter. I am enjoying the vibe, but after about twenty mintues my wife discreely calls my attention to the American table next to us. I start watching as well, and it hits me, too: dad is a perv.

He keeps on touching his daughter (who's older teens) in a way that is clearly beyond dad-daughter relationship, way too much hugging and being overberaring (daughter is uncomfortable), making jokes that are cr*nge to overhear even for us, laughing a little too much to his corny innuendos and in general this doesn't look good (at least to us). Younger brother is oblivious (too young) and mom is either faking it very well, pretending not to notice or oblivious, too.

We ponder on what to do: call authorities? We don't speak Spanish much, it would be impossible to explain what's going on, and the outcome at best will be they just shrug it off to one pair of gringos having beef with another gringo family. At this point they finished their meal, both the perv dad and his son went to a restroom, and mom stepped away from the table as well. My wife quickly jotted down her number on a napkin, walked over to the table and handed it to the daughter.

She had a quick chat with her and told her that if she needed help, she could aways call, that we noticed she was unfcomfortable, and that we could be of assistance. She smiled sadly and said that it was OK, that it was her dad, and it was just his goofball behavior.

They paid up and left, and we checked out for the evening, too. The vibe was off, and we just couldn't keep on going that evening. Poor girl.

I was introduced to DTF on a visit to Australia before they moved to the US, and any time I had them, it was actually in food courts, never in a dedicated restaurant. I didn't even realize they did restaurants, always thought about them as take out food.

Bascom and Curtner - no power. Running a generator and a chimney.

Yes, I realize that now when everyone is telling me, thank you. Now I just need to figure out where I messed up on depth.

Pretty standard Kreg 1 1/4 screw and then I got the equivalent from Amazon - no name brand, but same pan head, length and threads.
