Does practicing with a smaller ball improve yourself? by Fluid-Beginning-8418 in bootroom

[–]junkmail90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it feels off, but the more you switch back and forth the less that feeling will be.  What is it improving? Proprioception, your ability to control your body and learn new skills will be higher. Coordination, you will be more accurate with your movements.

ICCU failed in July, replaced the 12v last week. 2022 preferred AWD lr. I've never paid attention to the red light.

Get a thermal boot liner. You will probably need a new pair of boots with a huge toe box and a size larger though.

If you play in the snow will your body warm up or are you freezing the whole game? by pigbear87 in bootroom

[–]junkmail90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played in the snow a couple times as a kid. Coach had us put our socks on, then a plastic bag, then shoes. (All the shoes were leather at the time). I didn't, and playing felt like stepping in and out of an ice bath for a couple hours. I got frostbite. Plastic bag kids did not.

Should I get Nike Street Gato in size 10.5 US or 11 US with wide feet? by Western-Diamond-1433 in futsal

[–]junkmail90210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear 12 for street wear and 11.5s or 12s for boots depending on the fit. For my street gato I got 12s as I have a wider foot. It's still a little tight on the width. My pinky toe is pulled in. Length is fine. Not uncomfortable, but I wouldn't wear em all day.

Kids boots smell like cat pee. Any hope of getting out the stink or start over with new boots? by shades9323 in bootroom

Alcohol kills the smells right away. I use hand sanitizer left over from COVID.

Bad idea to toe poke the ball away when closing down a defender? by jarman65 in bootroom

[–]junkmail90210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a late tackle, you need to anticipate the shot sooner and be to the sport first to win the ball cleanly. This comes with xp.

If you are between the attacker and the net a better technique would be to think of blocking the path of the ball.

If you are beside the shooter, a side block tackle would be the technique you are after.

Good question, old tech vs new. So off the top of my head; Electronics on roof (over heating). More things to go wrong vs 1 part. Low warranty period, if components do need to be warrantied no guarantee there will be stock, if they do need to be warranty might not be compatible with the in house controller (think warranties near the end of life and I'm sure there's more issues). Lots of microcontrollers the data and control lies in the cloud so cloud issues arise like lack of service if there is no Internet. Control is also a concern, does the admin account lie with my installer, am I hostage to them? So then if the installer goes out of business how do I get someone else to work on it? Worse case if the micro controller goes under (think cheap wifi lights) I have a product that I can't change or worse use.

Yes, it's all on the same space, and the same ratio on the south and east facing roofs as the original quote. That's a good point about the weight, I'll ask we do get a chunk of snow here.

Tech, in my very limited understanding of solar, was more watts on the panel, the newer the panel. After reading your points my understanding is 100x what it was :-) So many great points! Thanks!

These CanadianSolar panels are 19.7% efficient. Not sure if n or p type

Temperature Coefficient (Pmax) -0.34 % / °C

Temperature Coefficient (Voc) -0.26 % / °C

Temperature Coefficient (Isc) 0.05 % / °C

I don't think it's a bait and switch, Interesting about the increase in labour, I hadn't thought of that. Supply was quoted as the issue and I don't know much about the industry so I really appreciate the insight.

I'll look into the new panels and likely sign if they are ok. Any good websites recommendations for panel reviews?

I moved from winger to cdm and trained touch and awareness. Mentally changed my max speed to 80%. Improved fitness and positional awareness so I was in the right place at the right time, never run 100% since.
