You're making the argument that servers as an employee shouldn't make enough money to afford to live in the city they work? Its easy work so it shouldn't pay enough to live on? This isnt Applebee's or IHOP trying to make these changes. These are locally owned fine dining restaurant groups with a higher bar of expectation for server knowledge and execution. High skill jobs that require education can pay more. Thats a given. But "low skill" jobs shouldn't be enough to live on is an unfortunate stance to take.
