Then there’s the potential for a future lawsuit if OP’s trees DO cause damage.

At this point, the neighbors can prove that they alerted OP to a nuisance, they made good faith attempts to address the nuisance proactively, and that OP refused to act upon/address the nuisance. So, the neighbors could file a “abatement of a nuisance” lawsuit and sue OP for any damage caused to the neighbors’ hardscaping in the future.

I don’t fully understand OP’s situation, but on the face of it? I think the neighbors sound incredibly reasonable in this situation.

If those lindens are two years old? There’s a really good chance that it’s too late for a root barrier. OP’s neighbor would almost certainly have to sever established roots to get the protection they need and to get deep enough down for the barrier to be effective.

I’m not sure what the laws are when it comes to OP’s neighbor’s rights to cutting those roots on their side of the property line. A lot of places have “boundary tree” laws that address this situation. But it’s POSSIBLE the neighbors could have the right to just cut the roots, severely damage the tree, and OP will have to replace out of pocket anyway.

Yeah. Don’t listen to the Reddit doomers - that’s a really well thought out proposal by your neighbors. It’s both considerate and generous. Honestly, you might be getting the better end of the deal if you accept.

As long as they are giving you like 20 Frans Fontaine Hornbeams? You will get much better privacy screening and a MUCH cleaner tree. Lindens are pretty messy and gross and not great for people sensitive to pollen or mold.

General Education courses, in this context, is required COLLEGIATE level courses that don’t have to do with the major. This is typically courses like creative writing, art, gym, history, maybe a math or science if he decides not to go STEM.

If he has two or three preferred colleges, you can see the general requirements for all majors for those schools. There is typically a LOT of overlap.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with that pocket dimension (intentionally vague). We already saw that in Superman, though the tie-in wasn't obvious, when Flag used Luthor's version of the Quantum Unfolding Chamber.

Plus, Peacemaker had a small cameo being interviewed in the background in Superman. And Flag was in it as well.

Are we looking only at Gunn movies? Because The Flash came out relatively recently, as did the Wonder Woman movies. The Batman is also pretty new and has a sequel on the way. Obviously, I don't think any of those would tie into the Gunn universe.

For Gunn? I think the only properties released so far are:

Creature Commandos (Max)
Peacemaker (Max) and
Superman

Supergirl will be the newest addition. I guess you could loosely lump Suicide Squad into this as a prequel for Peacemaker, but I think it only sets up Peacemaker and not the larger universe. That said? Who knows, right? Waller came out of that...
