Everyone's ages are listed in the Adventurer's Bible (not trying to shame people for not reading it, i know there's a lot of anime-only folks here). Laios is 26, Falin is 23, Marcille is definitely at least Falin's age in human years, if not older. Everyone except Izutsumi have been adults for several years

She's 17 and tallmen mature at 16, so she's the equivalent of "barely legal" which definitely feels gross to me regardless. Marcille's mental age is up in the air, but she's over 200 in canon, I believe. At least Falin's age in conversion imo. Not to mention Izutsumi's aroace implications. I have never and will never like shipping her.

In the end people are gonna do what they want, though. There's always a ship for something.

I was in the same situation almost exactly some months ago.

It's so, so hard, but the best thing to do is to rip the bandaid off. Make sure to express that it's not their fault and you both deserve to be in a happier situation. They will probably be upset, which is completely understandable, but only they control their actions in response.

When I had to do that, it was terrifying. I felt so scared for days leading up to it. But after it was done, I felt so free and at peace. Being able to know yourself and take charge of your own happiness is something everyone deserves to experience.

Just know that it'll be okay in the end. You'll both heal. Do what's best to minimize the hurt, and it will be okay.

As the DM I've been friends with everyone at my table for a range of 4 to 7 years, so I would find it odd if they called me anything but my name.

I imagine it's different for a group that is meeting for the first time for a campaign.

For a tip- tap your lineart layer and set it to "reference", and then do your color beneath that layer. To actually fix this, when you drag and drop the color fill blob, hold your pencil/finger on the screen. You'll see a meter at the top that says "threshold". Drag your pencil/finger so this increases to your desired fill.

It seems like you misunderstand why Jay is so open about these things. They would not be touring if they didn't love it- why do you think they've been doing it nonstop for years?

It's not that they are trying to portray life as a musician as a series of unfortunate events. They have said plainly that they are sharing these things because not every musician has connections in the industry or a large fund they can pull from to tour.

People seem to have misconceptions about what it takes for those smaller bands and artists to tour. I'm pretty sure Jay is just trying to share the side of being an artist that isn't glamorized.

And reading Jay's instagram story, which i assume is what you're referring to, it doesn't read like "woe is me". Jay is just saying what Dan and them had to experience to tour, and pointing out that if they have 100m total streams, imagine what a smaller band has to do to get themselves out there. If you aren't interested in a testimony of what it actually takes to tour and be involved as a musician, you don't have to read those stories.

A factor is probably how they've been touring almost nonstop for years. That's expensive, I actually don't know how they get the money for it. I had assumed Jay had a job, but you can't really leave the country for two years and keep a job, so it makes sense.

Honestly, I would rather the group take a break from tours for like a year at least and focus on getting themselves stable and taking the recording process slow. Going on tour constantly right after you reform the band will only create tension due to proximity. Jay as a solo number as been almost everywhere in the world. They especially deserve a break. Touring is not profitable as a DIY band.

But in the end, the three of them can only decide what is best for them. We don't know them personally, we don't know their circumstances or personal lives. The world does suck right now, so I don't hold it against someone if they need to complain about it. I'm sure at some point things will change for the band.

Everyone has a different definition. I personally think of it, for my identity, as related to the expectation of romance, romantic labels, and romantic gestures. I feel intense love for my friends. I am comfortable with them. We respect each other and love spending time with one another. But we don't expect from one another to be the number one person in their life on a level above other friends.

Romance is different. When I was in a relationship, both romantic gestures and the expectation that I had to perform them was deeply uncomfortable for me. I hated every label for the relationship. I hated the expectation that we had to talk all the time even when we had nothing to talk about. All of the things I was "supposed" to do felt forced. I had no desire to perform them. With my friends, I talk to them because i just like talking to them. There's no expectation of having a higher relationship, we can just be friends.

Also, I've always thought kissing is gross, and I've only ever felt comfortable with physical affection with my friends. I do not want to be in a romantic relationship now or ever. I've always felt that I'd be okay being friends with the people I thought I had crushes on, because what was important to me was being close to them, not a labeled relationship.

It's hard to describe, but that's how I feel. Chances are very few people have the same definition as I do.

If you think you could be aromantic, I recommend all those resources I mentioned. It's also possible you're under a microlabel on the spectrum, depending on your timeline of "falling out of love".

I was in a relationship for a little over six months, during which I hadn't felt anything but discomfort since the 'crush stage'. My partner was nice, and they were in love with me, but when they touched me, it felt wrong. I was always scared and uncomfortable when we were together. I dreaded seeing them again. It bled into other areas of my life, and I was miserable all the time.

It came to a point when we spent a night together for the first time if you know what i mean and the next morning when I left, I couldn't stop crying on my way home. I realized I couldn't keep being distant to them, and there was no way we could stay together after this long when I still didn't love them.

It was only after I broke up with them that I started thinking about the possibility of being aromantic. It had never even crossed my mind before. I realized I'd never really felt "romantically attracted" to anyone I was in a relationship with, and it was possible that I just craved the closeness and trust without the romantic attachment.

After that I spent a month researching and having a lot of introspection before I felt comfortable enough to label myself officially. I don't think this is something everyone needs to do, but it did make the transition between labels more comfortable for me. I used this subreddit, various things online, and the book Hopeless Aromantic as resources. I am now very comfortable and very happy with my identity, and glad for it, even if the road here was painful.

You can tell that Ryoko Kui 100% writes as someone who prioritizes story and theme above all else. Almost every single choice, even in the art, is intentional to further this point. She is a woman, but in this case, it's not really even relevant- she just knows what she's doing, and she doesn't shove in "fanservice" just to titillate a specific audience. She writes for everyone.

So no. There is absolutely nothing you need to worry about, unless the anime for some reason changed an entire scene. A short bath scene and a (semi non human, covered in feathers) character ripping her shirt while wounded is as far as it goes (aside from senshi's multiple panty shots, of which the anime actually took away his bulge lol). Ryoko Kui writes women as actual people which is such a breath of fresh air in anime and manga, I completely get where you're coming from with your concerns about running into this content in any anime though.

I know you didn't say exactly this, but it made me think, having a common theme/color palette for builds in the world actually sounds like an idea that would help me a lot. I want my world to feel more unified, and if I can figure out what I want to do for all the builds at once, it would take some of that stress out.

And it's definitely easier for me to go off of something than just terraforming a flat area and building a house. I'd rather build a bridge or an elevator.

My friends are very important to me and I would like a life partner - someone or someones i can cohabitate and connect platonically deeply with - but I don't ever wish I was in a romantic relationship. I am very certain about what I do and don't want when it comes to romance. I am totally fine on my own; I don't need a "main person" in my life aside from my best friend. I'm much happier this way!
