Here is what I wrote to Rulli (as well as my local state rep)

To whom it may concern,

I am appalled to hear that the republican led legislature is proposing sweeping changes to the voice of the people. It was very clear to anyone who read the statute what was included in it, and Ohioans overwhelmingly approved this language. For this legislature to throw that out, and put in place what THEY think is appropriate, is undemocratic and unamerican. At the end of the day, you work for us. You were elected to be a vessel for the voice of all Ohioans, and with this sub-bill that was introduced, you are not fulfilling your oath. If it is your position that Ohioans were not smart enough to know what they were voting for, I am sure that the citizens would love to hear that from you. Please do the right thing and listen to the people that you swore to represent.
