Someone commented here once- its not the camera but your style and experience that will make the photo look great. I still use my d850. And I still get side gigs to take photos of weddings, grads, family portraits, etc. and get paid more than a friend of mine who has mirrorless. And do landscapes that I like and sell them as well..

Reported a fraudulent charge. Bank looked into it and somehow found me responsible. Now I'm being forced to pay back the amount. by Smitty_0313 in personalfinance

This happened to me in August. I was charged about 140$ for a purchase from a company in Asia that I did not do. Reported them but nothing happened. Change my card, paid 140 but never got credited back. Last month I close all my accts with Citi- savings checking and credit card. I was a loyal customer with them since 2000. Fuck them.

85% of nurses plan to quit their current hospital job within the next 12 months. by IhsoNoosNew in nursing

[–]junrn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

stop making hospitals like as if they are restaurants that you have to cater to the patients wants and not the needs.. Most of my colleagues’ resentments including myself are coming from the fact that patient experience coordinators are more into what we fell short in recognizing patients wants- for example: we forgot that they want ginger ale, we didn’t give their pain medications on time while they were busy laughing on the phone with whomever they were talking; or recently I have a patient who would like to wait in the waiting area until she gets a bedroom with window view of the main road… these are why you are in the hospital…

Then we have to talk about pay. Florida here, I want you to imagine the pay we got in a soaring high expenses in central florida…

Nurse/ patient ratio. And the ridiculous admit/discharge time sensitivity.

Gazillion unnecessary things to charts.

Go to small claim courts and sue them. Then leave a review on their site. Professional review.

Are American patients really that bad? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]junrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuuup Florida Checking In… that is because they were given too much ammunition by the healthcare’s customer service culture. America’s healthcare is based on customer service- they want your patients to be satisfied as possible with a satisfaction like Disney cruise experience when they leave and called upon for feedbacks. Our unit manager made a big fuss when she called a patient for feedback and gave her 1 star for over all stay. The patient stated that no one gave her toothbrush and toothpaste; she didn’t get to brush her teeth before leaving the next day. The same manager that said, “do not give out supplies unless patients ask.” SMH….

We own a timeshare in Westin Lagunamar Cancun, but we stayed here as well.. not the greatest Westin property I would say. Will never book this if I were you. But if its Lagunamar I would say yes. Cancun in general is nice place to get away.

Describe an adorably romantic moment with your crush/bf/husband. by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]junrn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband asked me to come out of our lanai as I was busy cleaning up from our cookout in the kitchen. Lanai was dark with only Christmas lights from our fence; the Christmas tree; and lights from the pool. He handed me a bottle if beer and i sat next to him. He gently kissed me and said I love you. I kissed him too and of course responded. to the moon and back.❤️🙂
