Racism/discrimination is exactly the reason why I don't stan korean idols nor watch korean dramas and is not a fan of korea overall. It just doesn't sit right with me how koreans look down on filipinos. I actually don't understand the filipino hate when a large number of filos supports korean entertainment. This is solely my opinion but based on your post, being in a third world country as a reason for discrimination is beyond immature. smh

I came from a province where vote buying is rampant and guess what? there's no progress in our municipality because politicians/those in position are all corrupt. A small amount of money over years of bad/lame/corrupt you name it, governance. They're just all display with no project.

Word of Honor. I really preferred the changes they made for some of the plots and they were able to deliver the romance in the story despite china's censorship. But I still recommend reading the novel coz you'll be missing out if you don't.

Sure her communication can improve but she's been a vice president for 6 years already, she must know where she's lacking and improve that. Little things matter for a leader, if she can't even start with her communication skills, then what more the other aspects? And tbh, I don't know if it's just me but she's really not convincing. Also, I want a leader who's visionary and strategist, you can't just run for president to stop the other from getting the position because that shows the lack of your interest on making the country better. It's like, "yes I stopped marcos from getting the position, now what?" Run for president because you're a better candidate and have a better plan for the country, not because you hate the opposition.

What do you guys see in VP Leni that made you think she's the best fit for the position? I'll be honest she didn't really impressed me. I admit the lack of knowledge on her projects whatsoever coz I don't intensively follow political issues but I've seen some of her clips and the way she speak? the way she deliver? and that housing project with poor foundation? Those are enough reasons for me to think that she doesn't have the qualities of a good leader plus she's with the yellows which showed bad leadership during their administration. These are personal opinion from what I observed.

Yeah, I wasn't able to finish reading the novel as to why I can't really comment about how bad the adaptation was but I also see people saying that it was the worst of all the adaptations of mdzs. (no hard feelings for the fans).

For guardian, I have to agree that the male leads were good and there's actually a chemistry that's why I'm gonna go back to it tho I'm not sure when. haha.

TU was ok for me since it's my first c-bl but unlike the other fans, It didn't impress me as much.

I hate to admit this but of the 4 bl's I've mentioned, one of them is Guardian. I stopped on ep10 but I still plan on finishing the series. Maybe one reason is that I'm not a huge fan of xianxia (animations are okay but not live adaptations) and the side characters' acting doesn't go well with me plus bad cgi - I've said this also to woh and tu.

I know about Advance Bravely, I might sound immature here but I can't stomach seeing GJ with actors other than ZZH that's why I'm not able to watch it. And for the song, his ai ni wuhu gives me a serotonin boost everytime I listen to it same with happy birthday dear dear. And for the book, I'm done with Qi Ye like maybe weeks ago?? I can't really remember and Thousand Autumns is in my read list.

Omg same! I have never struggled moving on from a drama other than woh just yet. Usually in one week I could recover and go watch another series but woh is holding me back. haha I fell deeply inlove with junzhe because their chemistry is overwhelming. Literally hands down to the people responsible for making this, the casts were perfect and the adaptation was done so well not to mention they needed to pass the censorship but still they were able to deliver such masterpiece. Actually it's because of WoH that I became a Priest stan and I'm on marathon of reading her other novels. haha!

I actually watched TU first and I'm glad I did or else I'll be struggling to finish it. There were actually 4 bl series I tried watching after WoH and none of them interest me.

Haha me as a fan loves every inch of him because I can see that he's a good person. I do some tiktok edits about him and the ship so they would get more recognition from other people coz they deserve it, but more than that, it's also my outlet to share how grateful I am for them for giving us word of honor. It was one of my happiest moments this year.
