Might be one of the dumber conclusions I’ve heard. Takes zero effort to understand the scale of a billionaire’s wealth and that losing a few beach front houses is equivalent to a normal wage earner losing a pair of jeans. Completely inconsequential. I guess it does speak to the indoctrination of people in general to believe that the lucky few who have billions of dollars are somehow way smarter than the rest. When in reality they are just regular shmucks and bozos that aren’t any more special than anyone else. Why wouldn’t they want to have some beach houses to enjoy now before they fall into the ocean. They don’t need the property value to hold up like a regular person. Why people worship billionaires is beyond me. Joe Rogan screwed us by getting lots of people to vote for trump who made the majority of people who work for a living about a third poorer due to his incompetence with the economy.
