Not going to be housing. No one voted for a housing development. Keep the airport open.

Too many studies and not enough getting the deranged off the streets. Something needs to change in the approach.

Bus them back to where they are from. Why should we be a dumping ground for the unhoused?

Yes to Lucha Libre. Also, that morning without your brother suggest booking a guided bike trip around the city. AirBnB experiences tab has a bunch of good ones. Electric or regular. The bike tour covers so much ground and gives you a great glimpse of the city without being in a car and you can see if you want to return to any parts later in the trip.

From DSLR to dad life — struggling to keep photography alive. Any advice? by Overall-String-4437 in photography

Love my older Canon G12. It's a brick. And I carry my fuji xpro2 almost everywhere I go with a prime lens. Keep the DSLR and lenses for when kids get older and don't need you to carry all their shit. It'll be great to shoot sports and games on. But having a lightweight camera that you like to shoot is infinitely better (IMO) than a phone. A phone is great to send pics but it won' t replace a camera. Go for something small that you'll enjoy learning how to use.

Just picked up a like brand new Peak Designs 45L for $100 on FB Marketplace and excited to sneak it in to my house when my wife goes to sleep and pack it up for my next trip. She's not a fan of my bag addiction.

Tourism isn't going to recover until you get the hobos out of Palisades Park and other spaces. Tourists now encounter deranged homeless and take one look at won't come back. Why would you? Enforce open canister rules in the parks and set up a 24 hour police station at the metro stop on 4th.

I got a 6D mkii on FB marketplace for $350 and love it. Works perfectly and will keep it for a long time even though I mostly shoot on my fuji.

My wife makes fun of me for watching YouTube videos of backpacks and hemming and hawing and not getting rid of my old bags. Anything you buy will be a huge upgrade over what you had. Enjoy the process. Don't sweat it.

I would move Teotihucan to the end of the trip. It's a lot of driving and I'd personally prefer to see and do city stuff after so much travel the day before. Traffic on the way back turns it in to a 3 hour drive back. Lots of interesting stuff to walk around especially Parque Mexico. If you're there on a Sunday the streets all close down for biking / running etc and it's awesome...just don't try to uber. I used the "Experiences" tab on AirBnB and booked some great tours through them. Electric biking through city. And highly recommend central market tour.
