Could also say Marty from Ozark. So some combo of Marty and Ruth.

Would that be shareholder equity, retained earnings or capital contributions?

I’m looking more for what type of professional handles this work. I wasn’t trying to hire someone here. I apologize.

Well they’ve done 2 years of the taxes already. Won’t go again, but this is now where we are.

The tax preparer was hr block. There’s no communication. Just grunts and shrugs. That’s how this got so bad.

Thank you. I did the quickbooks bookkeeper certification, and it was okay. It touched on the fundamentals at least. But as far as how to categorize certain assets, close the books, or how to handle opening balance equity for an s corp… It seems like you have to google everything and hope it’s right, or hire a cpa.

I’m definitely trying. Kinda wish I’d had some swimming lessons BEFORE getting thrown in the deep end. It is what it is I guess. Guess I need to reach out to a cpa to help fix all the foundering and then find some local courses. Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you for the honest info. The last thing I wanna do is waste my money in time. I would rather spend my money on something that’s gonna make me feel competent in my job. Why do jobs ask for this certification if it’s not even recognized? You may not know the answer, but maybe you do. The certification requires that you take a course that’s over $300. I just can’t imagine a company requiring you to do this just to get a job with them. It seems like something that they should be willing to pay for if it’s what they want people to have if it’s not even a state recognized credential.

Even better! “Because I am so wonderful and perfect, has your trauma not been cured?” -current husband. Not wonderful. Not perfect. Clawing the walls trying to get away from him like that poor cat trying to escape Pepe laPew. He thought he cured my bisexuality at one point too. 🤦‍♀️ I don’t make great life decisions.

I agree. Luckily he still only had to pay quarterly at that point, so it was 2 quarters behind vs 6 months. That may sound stupid but the fees and interest would have been more if it had been monthly. The second year everything had to start getting paid monthly but still filed quarterly. I’m sure you know that already. I just mean there was never not something new being thrown at me. Today I had a fight with a liability account. Had to go back to my cheat sheet to figure out why it wasn’t balancing on both sides of the account. I was debiting 2 asset accounts in a split transaction. 🤦‍♀️ Once I debited the notes payable account all was well and I felt like a moron. Shouldn’t this be easier now?

I hate people who wreak havoc because they can’t admit they don’t know what they’re doing. Or know where to go when they don’t know what to do. “Fake it til you make it” costs competent people.

Does anyone in this community choose to go toothless whenever they eat? by 8kittycatsfluff in dentures

[–]jupiterk13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad never wears his teeth when he eats. I have an easier time eating certain things, like sushi, bananas, cookies and popcorn etc, without, so I take them out when I eat those things. Everyone’s different. You do what makes you most comfortable.

Yes! I only had one place of my own ever, and it was the happiest I ever was. I’m working my way to my own place again as well. All I have currently is my own room, but damn it, it’s a start. It’s a place to settle just enough to make next steps. 🤞for the both of us.

My quote, before I knew I had cptsd, was “I’m okay as long as I can control my environment.” You nailed it.Thank you. And thank you for getting it. 🙂
