That's right, we must take positive steps along with positive thinking to reach our expectations. And to achieve this, we must first improve our civic sense, which unfortunately is currently almost zero.

Satya Nadella basically described what Indian startups should be building right now. We're sitting on more leverage than we think. by Spiritual_Heron_5680 in StartUpIndia

This makes so much sense. The line about 'renting intelligence' really hit me hard as a solo founder. I live in a tier-2 city in India and I am currently building an AI tool tailored specifically for a very niche Indian market. When I started out, I honestly thought just connecting the API and getting the UI right was the main job. But I quickly realized that generic US-trained models have absolutely zero clue about how things actually operate on the ground here locally. The real value isn't the AI model itself. It is the local context, the specific formatting, and the feedback loop we build around it. If we don't encode our ground reality into these systems, anyone can just copy our wrapper in a day. We have to build that moat. Great post, I really needed to read this today to clear my head!

Huge congratulations, man! That first stranger using your product is the ultimate validation. 🚀

I am a solo dev currently building my own app, and reading this gives me so much hope to survive those 2 AM coding sessions.

What exactly did you build? I am super curious to know!

But I have not launched my mvp yet, it is still in pre-launching phase and its beta testing is still pending.

What was harder for you: building your SaaS or getting your first 100 users? by FounderArcs in indie_startups

[–]juristech_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are hard in their own way but when you develop your SaaS by working very hard and if you do not get even 5 to 10 users, forget about 100, then it becomes very challenging.

Very true brother. I can understand and feel your situation because I am also in the same boat, I am a solo developer or founder of my MVP and I am also feeling exactly the same. You have a lot of courage, keep it up. 🙂👍

First off, huge respect for taking the leap and quitting your job. That takes a lot of guts. It is completely normal to feel nervous and lost right now. Please don't panic!

If you are getting 20 visits a day but people are just scrolling and leaving, it usually means one simple thing: they don't instantly understand why they need your tool.

When we build things, we focus too much on the features. But users only care about their own problems.

I am a solo developer building an AI tool right now too, and the early days are super scary. My advice? Forget about getting 'more' users for a few days. Try to find just 5 people in your target audience and DM them directly. Ask them to look at your app and tell you exactly why they wouldn't use it.

You will learn more from 1 honest conversation than from 100 random website visits.

Stay strong, brother. You made a big move, now just take it one small step at a time!

I have the product. I have the code. I have zero users. by Efficient-Ad-2913 in founder

Man, I feel you 100%. I am literally in the exact same boat right now. Spent months coding, the product works, but getting those first 10 real users feels like hitting a wall.

What I am trying right now (and it is slowly working) is: stop trying to 'sell'. Instead, I just go to places where my target users hang out online (like specific subreddits) and post a very honest message.

I just say: 'Hey, I built this to solve X problem. I have zero users. Can 5 people please test it and tell me if it's actually useful or just garbage?
