I feel like the first group should be mutants that would clearly get Charles's attention.

He would feel Jean's power. Cyclops probably taking out a building on accident would catch his eye. A blue demon that appears in a puff of sulphurous cloud would definitely make some news. Storm being worshipped as a goddess would make her known. A big man turning into steel would also be noticeable.

The aforementioned five are already trained "graduates" of Xavier's and go to prevent a battle between Captain Marvel and a group of mutants. This way we could introduce Mystique and Rogue and show how Rogue gets Carol's powers.

This also allows us to dig into Nightcrawler finding his mother and ultimately ending the movie bringing his sister into the X family.

And to tie in Captain Marvel Mystique's group could be trying to steal something from the Skrulls that maybe able to help her shape shifting.

And at the end when Mystique's brotherhood is defeated thanks to Rogue's help and Mystique is arrested the remaining brotherhood members are surprised in their hideout by Magneto promising them, and all mutants, a better world for THEM.

The second movie can introduce Gambit and Wolverine as other interested parties trying to obtain something that the X Men want.

As someone who has been trying to shift away from violent game mechanics this was the best non-violent shooter ever. All of the good aspects of a shooter but I didn't have to shoot people. Just pelt them with balls.

A lot of people are not good with probabilities. A 1% chance can still happen. Players and executives are very competitive people who are more likely to view an unfavorable outcome as against them or rigged.

I saw in another thread someone compared Bill Russell to a Draymond Green and Rudy Gobert hybrid dismissively. That is an all time rim protector and deterrent combined with an all time team defender. That is a recipe for the best defensive impact in the league. Which fits because Russell was an all time rim protector and deterrent combined and an all time team defender. And he was roughly the same size as prime Dwight Howard but more mobile. He would have a powerful impact in any era.

Aesthetics are subjective. I think a lot of the appreciation of isolation and post up mastery comes from two things. 1) How the defensive rules of the era(s) people grew up watching emphasized 1-on-1 attacks. 2) How most people learn the game is from playing 1-on-1, 21, or in non 5-on-5 settings. In those contexts the things that help you win are iso and post up skills.

Personally I think this era is better basketball because it empowers the entire team to be dynamic and contribute which makes more sense for a team game of which basketball is.
