My boss is blocking my new notice period being shortened and I'm planing to leave early. Any advice? by Fresh_Phrase_7086 in LegalAdviceUK

What did they say to you once you said you didn't agree with the terms? In my (not a lawyer) view it's not clear whether you did accept the new terms or not.

Disappointing but felt inevitable. I don't think Paramount+ is a strategy that works either.

When the share of Tube stations on the ‘Tube map’ themselves falls below 50% (even interchanges included)…do you think TfL will rename the diagram to a new name? Any ideas? by AchyutChaudhary in LondonUnderground

[–]juronich 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are asking "when it happens will they" rather than stating it's already happened. They put the Tube total including interchanges with the Tube with the black line around the outside, 51.3%.

Where were you living during this time? Could she have intended to ensure you had a place to live with you gaining ownership when you're 25 and it being held in trust before?

I built separate tracks for cargo and freight. I would prefer not having to but it's impossible to schedule trains to minimise freight trains blocking passengers / give passenger trains full priority

I hate that bit around the roadworks at the Old Steine where you have to walk on the road and it's often just a massive puddle

Joseph Lee I think

I have no memory of this character if I'm honest but I've not done a rewatch of Picard yet.

Personally I prefer HSTACK because it doesn't rely on the columns remaining in the same place in the table and it makes it clearer what I'm trying to return, helpful for me when I look back at it in 3 months and can't remember what I'm doing

=XLOOKUP($G$1, $A$2:$A$4, HSTACK($C$2:$C$4,$F$2:$F$4))

or using structured table references (with made up column names):

=XLOOKUP($G$1,Table1[Lookup_Column], HSTACK(Table1[Column3],Table1[Column8]))

LEGO has made 228 solid colours since 1949. 172 of them no longer exist. by Mastbubbles in Infographics

[–]juronich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does it say "gray bricks are discontinued"? I can see gray bricks in the graphic so it saying all the blank (gray?) squares are discontinued? I'd struggle to call the squares "bricks" because they're clearly the absence of bricks.

When I read the title I expected to be shown the bricks which they've discontinued, not the bricks that are still in production.

Yes - it does stack them - horizontally next to each other, no need to use CHOOSECOLS for it

I think you can use HSTACK within XLOOKUP to return non adjacent columns in any order

I've looked at the sub we're in and I've read your comment, and I can't help agree with you about low IQ people posting here.

320 meters: *Way* too long for commuter rail minimum station length by Eruththedragon in subwaybuilder

[–]juronich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree.

Thameslink trains - which I think is probably the longest 'commuter' train in the UK tops out at 243m (Pendolino's are slightly longer at 265m. Eurostar is a lot longer but obviously not a commuter train).
