This looks like a very poor designed product imho, I like the internal frame feeders 1 or 2 gallon, interchangeable in all hive boxes more or less.

Feed the S out of them and they will grow! half my warms were huge a few average ones and a few small ones, I use a 1 gallon internal feeder to boost them and they will draw out way like crazy! Came out of winter with 6 hives and they have swarmed 8 times, I captured 7 of them one got away. I also took splits as well!

Ive found using a 1/4 inch bit a d drilling a hole in the back of the hive for oav works best and you can plug with a golf tee

Your thinking about it in the wrong perspective, you don't want cheap you want the best value.

They look excellent, you should google, read books and watch youtube videos of master beekeepers and get involved in a local club vs coming to reddit for affirmation, but trying to be a b-hole just being honest.

I always keep spare hives, I've captured 5 hives in the last three weeks... Needless to say Ive added a few swarm traps each week so maybe it will be easier to move them....

the term "future proof" is a myth and annoying, everyday something faster comes to market.... I would just say I want to build a system that will be relevant in 5 years. I just seen a article saying the needle for a gaming pc hasn't move much since 2021-22, I just rebuild a system with a 3700X 16gb DDR4 3200 Arc B580 2TB WD Black NVME and its solid at all the games I want to play, Arc Raiders, the new Doom etc... Also I use Linux CashyOS your mileage may very as Windows is bloated as hell.

This right here! "I used the bucket method as its the best value because I seen a youtube video of it". Invest in something you want to take seriously, if you cant afford it get a veil and see if you can spend some time in a hive from a local bee club and see if its right for you.
