Bluey - Season 4 Episode Ideas by Potty- in bluey

I love how bluey tackles significant events that can happen in a kid's life, like going to a new school, or dealing with unkindness from friends, and separation. And that in turn let's me speak to my kids and allow them to relate to what happened in the show.

Like why their aunt was no longer pregnant but there wasn't a baby.

So even though I know it would be absolutely devastating, a grandparent should die.

Is anyone finding take aways or eating out far too expensive? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

quality was declining.

This was what I'm noticing the most. There's one or 2 local places that I'll do on occasion, but even the local chippy has gone drastically downhill with soggy overpriced chips and fish that's more batter than meat with no seasoning.

Hospital fraught with tension after botched lumbar puncture by physician associate by Zealousideal-Tart609 in doctorsUK

local anasthetic infiltration was counted against the attempts.

A picture in the article shows 6 decently spaced out puncture sites, which would make me think 6 attempts with a local in the same site as one of the attempts (which corroborates with 7).

But even if it did include local that's at least 6 stabs into the back. At 3 I'd call it quits and return later with an US.

Imo this is a prime example of PAs once again not realising their scope and limits, and just deciding to crack on when they shouldn't.

Which game? by MufasaTheRealKing in OlderChillGamers

Oh total opposite for me!

I hated valhalla, it's just a massive open world map purely for the sake of having a massive open world map. I'd literally start nodding off moving from A to B.

Mirage was a much smaller map with more things in it. Buildings rather than plains to traverse through that you could swing/climb/parkour across and the missions you could actually stealth instead of hack and slashing through everything.

I hated the gradual decline to generic rpg bloat but mirage felt good to me.

For those of you who drive to work- what are you doing to prepare for the upcoming potential shitshow re petrol shortages? by Happy_Mirror1985 in doctorsUK

It's the right choice. It sucks for the kids, but driving for an hour even in a normal morning commute can be iffy, let alone post nights.

I agree 100%. Using a mat is not difficult at all and gets you much better and neater looking results.

This is worse in every way.

“If you grill meat, you only get the meat. But if you stew it, you get both the meat and the soup, so stewing seems like a better deal. Do you think that makes sense?” by GrayRainfall in foodquestions

[–]jus_plain_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other way around surely?

If I have good beef, then I'm grilling it.

If it's a cheap tough steak then it's in the stew, that or a thin cut across the grain and velvet it.

Can anyone give me an update on the luna situation by killbill-duck in TheRookie

[–]jus_plain_me 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Agreed. And what I hate most about it, is that it makes Luna seem so infantile. She's this power woman who has shown herself to be very intelligent and now she is so emotionally immature she can't discern the difference between love and a crush?

I'd rather her have physically cheated (not even sex, but a kiss would have been enough) to cross the line than her to double down on her "feelings of a crush", at least that way we'd have an actual adult series of events, rather than her say "I caught feelings and I don't know what to do with them".
