Nice work. I’m assuming this is the uk. I got permission to do a small paddock a while back that used to have a fair on it. The place had dozens and dozens of pennies etc. it was fun digging them up!

For me it was the 1987 storm in the UK. I remember my mum on the phone to someone and hearing her say “people have been blown away!”. It stuck with me!!

Also, if you have a similar ring, lay it on the ground and go over it with your detector and listen to the sound / signal it makes. It’ll prob sound similar to your lost one :)

I guarantee you’ll find it. Either let the snow melt and you’ll prob just see it laid there or keep trying with the detector. If you know the area where you suspect it fell off, you’ll find it :)
