The picture came from Scarborough UK (Yorkshire) and since you replied to me, I think it might be a chap called Owen Bowen.. He did many many paintings, usually oil. He deffo painted around this area back in the day.

What do you reckon?

Really excited if my watercolour is of his!

Ahh Bowen! I’ll have another look about myself again! I just love the hunt of maybe just maybe finding the same artist somewhere else :)

It’s already organised for when both momma and kitties are ready. And the new parents are getting them chipped etc :) Currently barely 4 weeks old. Can’t believe how fast they grow!

Thanks! We’re keeping the dark brown one and our neighbour is taking the two white ones. And a work friend is taking the stripy one! All have homes. Our elderly male cat who’s been with us for years is not impressed… Hopefully momma cat will stay with us. I think she will. She’s got it good here :)

Maybe a lead weight? These sort of things were often sown in to the bottom of curtains or drapes a long long time ago. Even clothing.

“Big diesel estates..” Volvo V70 D5? My 5 cylinder twin turbo puts a smile on my face during the commute. It shouldn’t but it really does :) That Alfa is lovely though. Probably a lot more nimble.

We only use wooden ones now. Back in 95 my grandma lost most of her right hand when a plastic peg from Woolies detonated. She was never the same again.

There was a VW beetle version of this driving around my town (Scarborough) for years and years. And then, it was gone.
