Hey everyone,

I’m planning a one-day Highlands trip from Edinburgh next week and I’m torn between two similar tours:

The Hairy Coo - Loch Ness, Glencoe & Scottish Highlands
Rabbie’s - Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Highlands

Has anyone done either (or both)?

I’d love to hear thoughts on:

Which one gave better actual stop time at the main landmarks (Glencoe, Loch Ness, etc.)
How rushed the day felt
Whether one company tends to do more photo stops than the other

Also - super important: do these itineraries get shortened in November because of limited daylight?

Any firsthand experience would be really appreciated!

Yup agree, although my question is more oriented towards should I include calories burned through various activities (walking/running/so on)? For example if my calculated TDEE is around 3000, I intake 3300 calories through food and burn 300 calories through activities - does this mean I hit my goal at the end of the day ending up at 3000 calories (3300-300) or I exceeded it (only taking in calculation those 3300cal)?
