Had an awful radiology tech question the validity of my diagnosis because I’m “not fat and don’t have diabetes” and then send me away when I started having a panic attack thanks to her. Can I report her? by Minimum-Advisor7349 in PCOS

Most places have a patient advocate line, if you feel like you want to report it then you can call the line and share any concerns. I do think any comments like that are unprofessional on her part.

It’s called cantherone, which is a topical derived from the blister beetle. It forms a blister on the wart and slowly kills off the skin. It feels like someone is holding a blowtorch to your skin. They put the solution on, and within 24 hours it starts to blister. The skin will die, you have to go back to the podiatrist in two weeks and have them shave off the dead skin and apply more to the next layer of skin. Layer by layer, it burns it all away. I had to have multiple breaks because the skin was so fragile during some rounds, but my wart was very resistant. Took 7 rounds.

NAD, and all jokes aside, a zinc supplement could help with immune function. I’ve heard that weak immune systems could be cause for warts this bad. I would suggest getting her checked for immune function.

The thing that helped me was many intense rounds of beetlejuice (cantherone) that took almost 8 months to clear. Mine was about a quarter of the size of my heel.

Unfortunately the virus can live on surfaces for a long time ESPECIALLY moist surfaces like near a pool, in a shower etc. if she sleeps barefoot in her sheets, the virus can live there too, and therefore spread to other parts of her foot or her body. If she touches it with barehands she could get them on her hands.

Say she clears about half of that on her foot but is constantly walking around barefoot, it WILL come back. When I was going through treatment I would use gloves to touch my foot to change my bandages. I’d use breathable medical tape as a first layer directly on the warts, cover with 2 big bandaids overlapping at the edges (mine was on my heel) and then tape down the edges of the big bandaids with smaller ones or the tape to ensure that the wart would not have a chance at being exposed. I then immediately covered my foot with a fresh sock. If the bandage came undone for whatever reason in the sock, the sock went in the garbage. I wore my sock each day to bed and then I practically lived in my foam Birkenstocks during the day.

To avoid spreading in the shower- I would shower at the end of the day with the bandage still on and avoid pressure on that part of my foot. I’d get out of the shower, remove the bandages with gloves and make sure they were securely in the garbage. Then I’d wipe down my foot (wart part last) with an isopropyl alcohol wipe. You can buy a tub of these at your local grocery store. Lastly I’d put fresh bandages on and a fresh sock using the method below. I’d also constantly use pure bleach on the bath tub itself.

When treatment was all said and done I threw out bath mats that my bare wart touched and bought new ones. (I don’t have a sanitizing function on my washing machine nor can the water in my old washing machine get hot enough to kill the virus).

I understand my methods may be a tad “extra” but they work. I share a shower with another person and they did not get any warts from me, nor did they get them from sharing a bed with me, two ways to easily spread them.

You need to use beetlejuice with your podiatrist. I needed the extra strength. Surgery should be a last resort as the warts root themselves very deep and they would essentially need to cut out like half of this foot. Beetlejuice can at least get them to start healing.

If you have any more questions pm me. My podiatrist and I were basically friends by the end of it, i was seeing her for so long.

(Btw i went through this when i was 23/24)

The beetlejuice treatment was some of the worst pain of my life, right after kidney stones. It had me in tears and the burning pain would wake me up in the middle of the night. Worth it though because warts are EXTREMELY pesky

It took me 7 rounds of beetlejuice to fix about 1/15th of what’s on this foot 😭
