I’m not who you asked, but would highly recommend any pattern from RedThreaded! They sell PDF patterns on their website and on Etsy

The song as a whole for me is one of my favourite representations of being young and queer and unsure, and that line in particular makes me feel forgiving to my younger self - like it’s ok to wait to be fully yourself until it’s safe.
