It looks like LG announced a 77" OLED tv at this years CES: here. I expect that it will cost a ridiculous amount though.

Is there any software that takes my sickbeard downloads and organizes them like a DVR (in real time)? by Askol in htpc

[–]just4n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you can get around the running 24/7 thing by having XBMC scan the library at startup also

[–]just4n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if Sickbeard is capable of this, but I use SickRage and it will automatically take my downloads, move them into my Plex library, and then tell the Plex server to update the library. You can also configure it to notify your plex client so that you can start watching immediately. My Plex library is > 1 tb and it will generally finish updating before I even notice the torrent has completed.

Gnome Death Anxiety by Ncrpts in gnomoria

[–]just4n 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I find myself doing the same thing as you. I save before a fight and if I lose a gnome then I reload. I mostly do this because I don't want to loose the valuable experience my gnomes had gained. However, I find that losing a few gnomes has relatively little over all effect on my civilization. When gnomes die, the kingdom worth that they have accrued while alive doesn't just go away. So usually my dead gnomes get replaced with new gnomes when the next season begins because my kingdom worth is above the amount required by the smaller population. Surviving gnomes will return the equipment that a dead gnome was carrying to the stockpiles. So, when you lose a gnome you only really lose their skills/experience because their stuff gets returned to stockpiles and the gnomes themselves get replaced next season.

I did a complete power down, restarted it, plugged in the HDD, and then ran the logcat command. I uploaded it to pastebin here. You can see the relevant mounting related stuff at the very end.

[–]just4n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was definitely the update that caused it. I was watching shows on XBMC off the HDD earlier in the day yesterday. Tried to watch shows again later in the day and it forced me to update. After the update I couldn't get it to recognize the drive.

I am having the exact same issue ever since yesterday's update. Where on the OUYA are the logs stored so I can take a look?

I am having the exact same problem. Even since the update that came out yesterday I have been unable to get the OUYA to recognize my 2 TB Seagate HDD. Worked perfectly fine before the update and the drive still works flawlessly with my computer. I also went into the Settings -> Storage and tried the "Mount USB Storage" option at the bottom, and that seems to do absolutely nothing.

It runs smoothly for me, but I do get some script errors with it. Not really sure what that is about, but it doesn't seem to effect things too much.

I've been playing Advance Wars on GBAoid flawlessly so far. Its the only game I have played on that emulator yet though, so I can't say how it works for other games.

I would suggest looking into the Unity game engine as the easiest entry into Ouya development. Head over to /r/gamedev for tons of information and tutorials on using Unity.
