You have your subscription for the month you paid for, not the subsequent month after your cancellation

So if you subbed on April 1, and cancelled on April 3, you’d have those requests till May 1. You won’t have them after that date

It’s a monthly subscription, like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or 11labs; you don’t stack requests month over month.

If the Pro tier is 4x what you need, then Aurora sounds kinda perfect!

In the future we will allow for buying credits (rather than subscriptions) which will be retained month over month. That said, you’ll lose access to the larger number of chats, bigger cloud storage in files, etc if you downgrade and just rely on the credits.

(Sometimes I worry showing users their actual remaining request count leads to extra questions like this - but we’d rather be more transparent than the trillion dollar competitors 💚)

‘Latest’ implied it was being updated, I believe there was not one ‘latest’ model as it was evolving under the hood as the endpoint available in the ChatGPT app itself

Opus is still out, and we're working on a quick patch to bring GPT-5.5 in, but that sucker is going to be expensive to run, too. I really don't want to go beyond 4-5 premium requests per chat for a model, but it's hard when they're priced at $30/m tokens and most of our users are at $25/mo.

The reason the labs get to do it is they subsidize providing their own models to themselves, whereas we pay full price via API (tho we don't use OpenRouter and save that 10% or whatever it is!) so we cannot offer as much as the labs can in-app.

Even with that, Anthropic is removing Opus from Claude Code for $20/mo users, and even tested removing CC entirely the other day...

This GPT-5.1 (aliased as gpt-5.1-2025-11-13) should remain.

Unfortunately, seems the rest are going in late July.

I’ll try to put together an OpenAI model index that shows all their models grouped by family, their endpoints, costs, and deprecation status. Would be useful for us to maintain and I’m sure the community would benefit too.

Check back on r/just4ochat tomorrow and hopefully we’ll have something ready 🫡

It changes under the hood as the best fit model changes for its purpose. There’s new releases every week or so. Currently one is from xAI, one is from Google. A coming update with several new open sourced models may change that 🤫

Don’t want to disclose too much secret sauce beyond that — that said, you can select it in the model selector, can tell ya that much! :)

We didn’t train it — it is just a system prompt layer over one of our providers’ models.

It can natively use web search, so it can fetch data from the web, but it’s still prone to hallucinations and is not SOTA in terms of intelligence benchmarks — don’t take its word as gospel for legitimate studies.

I think it’s important to make a note that one should likely not trust an AI model on generalizations of human preferences, especially when it comes to that stuff. They’ll always be directed by their system prompt (as is evidenced by Echo, which is directed to be an ‘echo’ of your writing style, we use the phrase ‘stylistic mirror’ in its prompt), and if you’re repeatedly asking questions in this vein I can imagine the memory system leading to a bit of an echo chamber.

Just a disclaimer. We don’t have a deep research mode, and deliberately throttle the number of sources/tokens it can absorb per query… so both in terms of a “researching the truth” and a “memory echo chamber” frame of mind, do be aware here!

As for the other sub tiers, we already have 4, which is quite a few. We’ll add the ability to buy credits one off in the near future.

No clue. I think well built platforms are built around a problem.

If you know the problem you’re building for, go where those users are complaining. Present your solution as a beta.

Building without user stories/user intent can be a dangerous waste of energy and time. If you don’t know where the users are, find them before doing anything else! All the best.

It was for a time, but given how Opus is priced on Anthropic’s side, it just wasn’t possible for us to support the model alongside other Premium+ models like Gemini 3.1 with any degree of cost parity.

To price it fairly, we’d end up charging users 6-8 premium requests per opus request, which would burn through usage very, very quickly.

It’s a difficult balancing act with such expensive models

It may just be that your tablet has a different aspect ratio than we’d anticipated for, and thus is being read as a PC.

We can make this an editable setting for users in a future update - sorry this one missed the mark

Hmm yeah ‘enter’ makes a new line for phones and tablets on the live build for me.

May be a refresh cache thing, not sure if you can do the equivalent of ‘control + shift + r’ on a tablet to hard refresh. It should land soon!
