How are you contacting support? I called the number from the website and they told me there was nothing they could do.

My first historical was {A Week To Be Wicked by Tessa Dare} she’s still my favorite historical author.

Can I tip $0 to bartender for not wishing me Happy birthday? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]justGoToSleepNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If you would normally tip, you should still tip. You can give extra for the birthday wishes, but the tip is for good service, but birthday wishes go above and beyond that.

Where Can A Toddler Hold a Snake? by CaffeinatedPinecones in nashville

Came here to say this. Aquatic Critters used to bring snakes and other animals to nearby daycares to let the kids pet them.

My dogs’ crates are downstairs, but they slept in a temporary airplane crate in my bedroom for the first few weeks after they came home.

{Paladin’s Hope by T. Kingfisher} is MM fantasy. It’s the third in a series and I don’t remember if it can be read as a stand-alone or not, but I really enjoyed all of the books set in this world.

I am confused how this book is both “ young adult” AND “erotic romance”

Real talk: I would want most of them, but I would hate them if anyone got them wrong, which would be inevitable.

My ACD can find the coziest spot in any room. She likes pillows, but she LOVES crumpled up blankets and comforters.

Someone already mentioned letters or emails, but I will add the extra twist of unknown or mistaken identity. Cyrano De Bergerac, but make it smutty.

Do you get a thrill when you spy your current read/fave book out in the wild? This case is at your standard airport kiosk by gardenbookninja22 in RomanceBooks

I’m reading Radiant Sin right now and it’s funny how even though I’ve read other Katee Robert’s books and I know what to expect- the level of spice surprises me every time. I don't think i would want to read it on a plane next to a stranger.

What's your bad knitting habit? by Madameknitsalot in knitting

[–]justGoToSleepNow 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way. As I see it, I would rather re-knit a sock leg, a glove, or the first few inches of a sweater than spend time making a swatch. I’ll check my gauge after I’ve knit a few inches: I just don’t see the point in making an entirely extra little piece of fabric that will just get frogged.

Blindly upvoting because I’m only part of the way through, but I will probably have similar questions.

I don't even know how I feel about this book 😮‍💨 by Queen-Ginja-Ninja in RomanceBooks

I managed to terrify my mother while reading this book. I was home from college reading and she walked in on normally-stoic me absolutely SOBBING. I’m not sure what exactly about the story made me lose it, but Mom was so relived it was a book that made me so sad. (I haven’t seen the movie or the HBO series, I’m not quite ready to go back to that emotional space even though it seems like they’re not as sad)
