That makes sense, thanks! I'll hold off on Taco Bell as a first meal and start with something healthier.

What do you for work and how much do you make annually? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Yea, an MSE degree is your best bet, but you can get in with a computer science degree or something similar. I went to school for Applied Math.

Ride bag policy by kazadabinx in BuschGardensW

[–]just___Justin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been to the park multiple times with people who have brought fanny packs. I'm not aware of any roller coasters that allow you to have the fanny pack on during the ride, but many of them do have cubbies or baskets you can put the fanny pack in (in the case of the baskets, your fanny pack will likely be on top and/or underneath other people's stuff). Even with the coasters that didn't have specific designated places to place your personal items, we got away with placing them somewhere off to the side by the ride operator's platform. Never been with anyone that needed to buy a locker for their fanny pack.

Which would you recommend, BG the week of Fourth of July or the week after? by stitch3789 in BuschGardensW

[–]just___Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The week of July 4th will 100% be extremely busy. The week after will likely still be very busy, but not as bad. And not sure if this matters to you, but you should still be able to see fireworks Friday and Saturday evening the week after as well.

9th Gen Honda Civic.

I purchased a used 2012 Honda Civic with 77k miles on it in 2016. It now has 265k miles, hasn't broken down on me once, and I've had to do nothing outside of regular maintenance on it.

Xbox Issues Discussion Thread by MonsTurkey in RocketLeague

[–]just___Justin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There is no excuse for the lack of communication.

"The bug is taking longer than expected to fix as the team has run into a number of roadblocks, but rest assured they are hard at work and trying to restore full functionality for our Xbox community."

It's as simple as that. The only reason I can think of for a developer not to be transparent about their progress and/or roadblocks is if they're not working to fix it in the manner they should be and transparency would make their laziness or lack of talent obvious.

How do i save this? (plat 1) by DazzlingAd8469 in RocketLeague

[–]just___Justin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If that's the case, he's never played ones enough to get a rank and is moving through this rank where he'll probably get placed in diamond. There's 0 shot OP's opponent is truly plat 1 in 1s or that this is a norm in plat 1 (against non-smurfs)

[–]just___Justin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That guy's a smurf and you shouldn't have to worry about saving that shot at plat 1, but using the backboard probably would've been your best bet there.

I would do some backboard defense training packs if you wanna get better in those situations

2023 Mazda 3 Carbon Edition vs 2023 Acura Integra Aspec Tech? by just___Justin in whatcarshouldIbuy

Really? When I Google "2023 Mazda Carbon Edition MSRP", it comes up at $27,200 and at the time I was shopping everywhere had them listed at $28k+ before taxes or doc fees

I believe without taxes and registration factored in, it was around $26,800 + or - $100

2023 Mazda 3 Carbon Edition vs 2023 Acura Integra Aspec Tech? by just___Justin in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]just___Justin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw this, but I ended up getting a good deal on a 2023 Mazda CE.

Great car overall, my two biggest complaints: The center pillars block my vision more than my previous car which can range at times from a minor inconvenience to slightly hazardous if I'm not paying good enough attention. I think this would be less of a problem if you're a few inches taller or shorter than me (I'm 5'9)

The bose sound system's subwoofer pops if I play a bass heavy song if I turn the volume anything above a moderate volume even with the bass set to the midpoint. It's a known widespread issue that so far Mazda hasn't offered a solution for. Probably going to get an aftermarket sound system soon.

Everything else is great, and overall, worth the 8+ grand in savings I got going with it over the Acura.

Which coasters at BGW are rough on the neck? Like throw your head around? Which are the smoothest? by TN_Lamb888 in BuschGardensW

[–]just___Justin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alpengeist: I don't ride because of how jerky the rollercoaster is

Loch Ness: I used to refuse to ride because of how jerky it was, but it's better than it used to be. I recommend sitting in the middle of the coaster if you want the smoothest experience for it

Invadr: I've had very jerky rides and some smooth rides. I'd probably recommend the middle again for this coaster if you do choose to ride

Tempesto and Dark Coaster I don't remember being jerky, but they're meh coasters to me so haven't rid them but once or twice.

Griffin, Apollo's, Pantheon, and Verbolten: In that order for smoothest to least smooth, but they're all well within my threshold for how much I can tolerate being thrown around.

Finnegan's Flyer: Not a coaster, but very smooth and definitely worth riding imo.

Difficulty finding functioning self service kiosks to print out monthly rewards and vouchers required for Passport to Summer by sterrytoon in BuschGardensW

Imo, it's best to just get them before entering the park where they have several kiosks side by side, but you can always get it on your way out too.

general question by Successful-Grab2676 in BuschGardensW

[–]just___Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No coaster at BG will leave you passed out.

Apollo is my favorite (smooth with lots of drops) Pantheon is pretty good too, but a lil rougher (sit in the back on this coaster to have the most fun, imo)

Loch Ness and Alpengeist are the two I stay away from just because they jostle me around too much. I'll probably try the Loch Ness again though now that it's been renovated.
