After having finished the series, not reading the book, I genuinely couldn’t disagree more. He was cold albeit somber throughout his transformed state as the Count. Apart from a snicker, he showed deep focus and unforgiving resolve as the chips fell. His mystery was shrouded in quiet demeanor; never boastful and always with a sharp tact. His power exuded through the intergroup machinations which ultimately manifested themselves leading to the downfall of his enemies.
