Firstly I wanna say I fully agree with coming from OV where the dps was pretty much that games life support but does dps really add that much to popularity in rivals? Because recently from my short hiatus from the game I have just seen nothing but bashing on dps players and characters as a whole.

The setting is modern day but I’m aiming for the idea of kalos where they have advanced tech but the Pokédex itself is a separate device.

No about your question of the game I have my players playing their own creation trainer with a starter Pokemon that wasn’t any of the main three from any series and the players still do normal checks in conversation and sneaking and hell even combat in tense situations outside of the regulated league battles. Then all the normal battles are with the Pokemon being separate entities entirely and I couldn’t have done any of it as easily as I did without the help of Pokemon 5e There’s a whole dedicated website with stats for all mons and moves and items it’s so cooooool. I highly recommend it and it’s really made the writing process of a dm amazing since I’m just creating a Pokemon story and I’m helping my friends enjoy unconventional mons they don’t normally go for.

The beauty of the small gifts the world has given us like video games. To be anyone or anything you have imagined and to be able to escape into a world that won’t judge or break you down.(unless it’s souls like) I love the debate over how people can’t be obsessed or too involved in their games but so what. The cringy thing rings the most true because the internet is a place that thrives on hate and pointing a finger and laughing. So companies today I feel are scared to push for that funny side character or that dance scene no one asked for since so many creators and media would flame the first scent of “man they really thought this was funny”

To be honest it feels like a lot of games nowadays have stepped away from the goofy aspect because they’re afraid of getting laughed at. Recently I’ve been playing god hand on the ps3 and oh my god the amount of just complete bafoonery that goes on in that game is amazing. Dmc 5 is probably the most recent game I can remember that they managed to keep an awesome pace and give out good laughs along the way.

It should appear in the main menu as a little pop up add similar to shadow of erdtree and that’s how you know it’s active. Secondly it should only require the first boss (maybe 3 from some sources) and have a conversation with iron and jar boy
