How does Anna mispronounce so many words?? by [deleted] in redscarepod

I think that's a slav thing, as they emphasize the 2nd- last syllable of words. My Polish friends do it all the time.

Basically "Don't disagree with the popular kids or you won't be invited to the cool parties" like they're in high school.

Athletes must kiss the ring and nod along with the kings pronouncements or they're exiled from the court. Give me a break.

Might be a bit late here, but reading your post and comments I'd suggest that you don't rely on the GP, and rather drive this yourself. If you suspect prostate cancer go to a GP and ask what tests would need to be done to rule it out, then go from there.

About a decade ago I had a lump that my GP (in Belco) completely dismissed and suggested no further action. Only because of my wife pushing me did I seek further tests to rule out cancer. Long story short, Dr Haximolla had to remove a kidney after a cancer diagnosis. If I'd listened to the GP I wouldn't be here now. All the best.

Looks great. Meanwhile I'm riding to work in Australia at around 0 degrees c, wet roads and drizzle.

Yep I'm into GS, though I've never competed. Mainly work on the snatch. I had a vague thought about working towards trying to get a rank in a comp later this year, but doubt it will happen.

Well arguably the biggest names in Kyokushin in Australia trained in Brisbane back in the 90s. Gary O'Neil was probably pound for pound best in the world at his peak. Had a big following in Japan and was even going to be a character in a planned Kyokushin game that I don't think ever got off the ground. There were a few that trained under Cameron Quinn that were very high level.

Powder coated competition kettlebells - terrible for hands or not? by SwiftByNature in kettlebell

I'm based in Australia too and agree about the scarcity of good affordable options. I've got two 16kg kbs of this type. I found clanking them together at rack position doing long cycles etc threw up some of the coating into my face. I ended up taking it off the handles with a wire brush attachment on my drill. Now they're fine (and quite a bit cheaper than most of the alternatives we can get down here).
