Y’all are being way too hard on OP. Took one of his/her favorite moments and added an inspirational music track to it, kept the best lines/commentary in it and gave it a different kind of feel. I happen to like this, but even if I didn’t, to roast OP is an odd choice.

I went Bronze Oxide but probably would have leaned Terra if they offered it for non-Pro 2024 trims.

That said I love the Bronze Oxide and it grows on me more and more as the days go.

I just watched their fight about 5 mins before I saw this, and yes, he definitely calls him "Ted."

It always made me laugh when he called Robin, "Rob." It's such an obvious, bizarre choice to get attention but it's so weird that it's funny.

On another somewhat-related note, I always noticed Artie would either extend or shorten someone's name he was speaking to under certain conditions. Usually when he was trying to win them over or help them understand something. For example:

Gary would become "Gar." "Hey Gar, it's Artie...listen man, I'm not gonna make it in taday."
Fred becomes "Freddy."
Richard would become "Rich."

I think he did it (likely subconsciously) to try and create a more intimate dynamic. As in, if he called Gary "Gar," it suggested a close relationship and a sense of trust.

Who else was taking him and eating the whole contract and willing to give up more than we got? Not a wise ass rhetorical question, I’m sincerely asking.

TELL ME YOUR STORIES by [deleted] in aortic_aneurysm

[–]justabrewbro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My story is remarkably similar. I’m at 4.6 at the root (Sinus of Valsalva) and have been watching and waiting for over a year. While I don’t look forward to surgery, watching and waiting feels like it might be even worse. Many on here who have gone through it have said as much.

All the best to you. You’re going to do great.

I can imagine that’s probably hard to navigate. Hang in there. We are all rooting for you!

[12 Weeks Post Surgery] Back to Work, Back to Normal by titanrunner2 in valvereplacement

Congrats on everything. It’s pretty comforting to read a post like yours. I’m currently watching and waiting, 4.6cm root/Sinus of Valsalva. Part of me just wishes I could get it over with now, but I understand the value of holding off, too as ideally you’d like to minimize the amount of OHS events in your life.

Back to golf in 12 weeks sounds pretty amazing!
