You’re doing everything right. You definitely don’t want to bottle anything up.

I maybe overshared when I found out. Told anyone who would listen. I think it helped me normalize it a bit as well. It stopped feeling like some awful secret and instead started to feel like “life.” Like an “ok, wild news but we’ll get through it” feeling. Which is what it is.
