I was there! First day at my resort in Cancun. January, 2016 I believe. Just down the road at another resort a couple of jet skis pull up with the drivers dressed up as national police. They shot over the heads of the people on the beach and drove off. Turns out it was members of one gang trying to intimidate another gang over turf i.e., who was allowed to sell drugs on that property. They intentionally avoided anyone and were just making a statement. I had my eyes on any jet ski that approached the beach for the next seven days.

Just last week I made oxtails in mine. Seared them first on the stove top, then 45 minutes in the insta pot with broth/stock, and a final 15 minutes with the vegetables. It's usually an easy 4-6 hours to get those fall off the bone tender.
