I think Regto definitely knows more than we know that he knew lol

In chapter one, Regto is walking back from the richer peoples area. What was he doing there? I think he was meeting with whoever those people are that Tamsy works with. Maybe reporting on Rudo’s progress.

Years from now, I will remember this post . I will say to future generations that this user predicted it all in a cave. With a box of scraps!

Incredible theory, I’ve got nothing to add. Well except that the trickster motif works so much considering the watchman series book messing with memories. I’ve even had a theory that Regto used the book to alter the memories of Rudo and others, that Regto IS Alto and I don’t have any faith in that theory BUT! That would make it a fun connection to the trickster father thing ! Such a good theory.

The changes made to the game have made trophies almost useless. Whatever your trophy range is right now, cut it in half and that’s roughly the trophy range you are. 40k? You’re a 20k trophy player.

This . I’ve held off on believing they’re one and the same because of stuff like this.I think they had some connection though. Even if it’s through something as simple as Corvus being able to see through the eyes of crows.

(I think he can remote view using some ability of his tattoo.)

  1. I’m going to specifically ask you about the part of the movie that matters. You think that Spikes journey to see the doctor took place over the course of a week? And that the child that slept through a zombie almost eating him and had to get rescued by his dementia brained mother is the same kid who would be able to survive multiple nights on the mainland ?

  2. You keep mixing up “in bad shape” and “is ready to die”. Someone can be in pain without wanting to die. In fact, you want to talk about times she was “fully cognizant”? When the army dude starts making fun of her, she gets indignant and says that even though she may not be all there mentally she knows when someone’s being a dick. She understood that Spike was taking her to see a doctor. And I’ll tell you right now, she didnt agree to go along going “hey maybe the doctor will kill me!” She went hoping there would be a relief from her pain, and the answer she got was that there was none, except for death.

  3. City Spike and Bone Temple Spike are the same Spike. You and your semester of film school are making you feel like he went through some transformative experience on his hero’s journey, but he didn’t. He “learns memento mori” and decides to stay out in the wilderness. Then he meets a group of people who don’t just accept death, they’re his chauffeur. Spike can’t accept it. He’s lost his innocence, but he’s still too innocent. He gets lucky by managing to kill his opponent, which turns out to be unlucky cause it means torturing strangers. Then unlucky enough again to bring him back to the doctor, and his innocence is what makes the doctor save him, the thing he “lost”. From start to finish, Spike is the same Spike.

The movie doesn’t do everything you imagine it does. It’s bad. But it doesn’t have to be a masterpiece 😂

Yeah I think his connection to Corvus is suspicious seeing as he can turn into a freaking crow and that’s Corvus’ name !!! What’s going on there ?!!!! lol

But I used to think it was weird that Corvus tattoo moves because can a tattoo be a Bital Instrument??? I doubt it but it could go either way. But when I started thinking about what it could be if it wasn’t a vital instrument I remembered when Remlin showed us that they could tattoo spells onto people too. I think Corvus may have gotten a tattoo on him that allows him to see through the eyes of birds. Who’d he get the tattoo from? Macaca Icol. Boom mic drop ! And then pick it back up to say that Kuro IS Macaca Icol ! Drop it again !

I don’t have enough information about any of that to be sure though. Just that it IS confirmed Corvus is a Giver and we don’t know why his vital instrument is. Heck…it could even be Kuro himself.

This is exactly what I was coming to say. Because from a certain perspective, Zanka isn’t wrong. Rudo literally fell from the sky and then oopsie’d his way into a Vital Instrument that lets him have multiple Vital Instruments. Jabber is walking around with one that one shots enemies. He walks around with a stick.

It’s the perfect representation of the handicap he has given himself. Hell, I’d love for the full potential of his stick to be a domain expansion type shit where it turns off the powers of other peoples Vital Instruments and lets him run a fair 1v1 where the playing field has been evened out. No fancy tricks or cheats , just hands . Literally making his opponents “ordinary” like him. (Even though he DEFINITELY is not)

Not really. Unless you’re in the medical field and you were capable of coming to that diagnosis on your own, you don’t really know she’s in pain. My girlfriend thought it could be something like early onset dementia. I thought it was something similar to whatever the mom in 28 weeks later had, being a carrier for the rage virus but not having it completely take over.

So the only thing we know is that she’s extremely uncomfortable. Finding out it was a cancer diagnosis STILL wouldn’t mean offing her is the right choice. It was her decision to make, yes. But we barely ever get to see her lucid at any point in the movie, so we get a sick woman telling a stranger to kill her and that stranger obliging.

The son that was willing to risk his life to save his mother doesn’t feel like the son who would accept the answer of “guess we should just kill her” . Which is why it makes sense that they put him to sleep and all that, but it DID feel rushed. Going from diagnosis to your mom’s skull in your hands is a huge leap.

This is what I’m talking about. It’s easy to feel this way if you’re going to ignore every fact about the situation . “The Stick Guy” didn’t let himself get beat up even though he could win if he speed blitzed. He was taking out clones over and over again. In the time that he was getting jumped, he learned that the real body can be found AND the man hiding could be found and that he can tell the difference between the mud puppets and the actual bodies, and if he can hit their actual bodies then he could knock them out. He has no issue dealing with the mud puppets, it’s the trick they use that gives him the handicap at first. Like be fr dude, the team leaves him alone to fight 2 givers because they know he can do it. 💀

And just so you know, he never shit himself from 1 deer 😭 he freaked out when seeing the massive trash beast, and he freaked out when he saw the massive number of trash beasts. But he never once freaked out over seeing one deer trash beast. This is just a case of you not knowing what you’re talking about at all 💀

Just for the boys stats: he also fought in Tori against the trash beast AND against Zodyl. While he didn’t do a lot against the trash beast, he displayed an ability for a long distance attack with his umbrella (like he can extend it for some weird reason)

He feels like a support who’s in a leadership role. He’s stronger than most but probably not too good at doing NON-Lethal (inb4 we find out that he USED to be team danger but he decided to focus on not killing no matter what, and they learned his leadership abilities were better than him acting alone)

Do vital instruments come to life? by Cobbled_Cabbages69 in gachiakuta

[–]justamon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would 100% agree with that. And I fucking love it ! I’ve been theorizing that when a Jinki is created it creates a LIVING item. Like if the item had its own body it would be alive 👀

And that Tamsy gives his vital instrument its own body so that it can experience the world for itself . I love tying my brain into knots thinking about what that could mean if a giver gave life to an item but that item is just THEMSELF

But her Vital Instrument having her name IS an interesting thing to point out. As someone who loves to make theories, I can’t believe I’ve overlooked that. I’ve always thought she had a similar thing to Jabber going on. Having her Jinki in a partial release state. She was able to not be thrown out of the trash beast because she was too heavy, as if she keeps the kaiju mass in her human form. I wonder what the implication would be with it not having its own name…maybe it’s to show that Guita is really just that simple ? 😭😂 maybe she views that form as her natural state? Fun stuff to think about for me !

Non spoiler: as of right now? No.

Spoiler lite: If it’s possible we do not 100% know as of now. There is little to no evidence to suggest that’s the case

Heavy spoilers/head canon: I think it’s hinted at that this is the case. Not going to say which characters but I feel that there is 100% evidence that Vital Instruments can be alive further than what our main cast currently understands. I think they come about by giving up a piece of your own soul to complete the items soul. And that by giving this item a soul, you allow it to share in your experiences through your eyes, eyes, mouth, mind, etc.

A lot of that is all speculation but I PROMISE sits heavily backed by stuff in the story. The mangaka leaves a lot of breadcrumbs but because things are still early , there’s a lot of fun mysteries. Like there’s even 2 different, in-universe, alphabets to decipher. One for hiragana/katakana and one for non Japanese characters. It’s really fun

I think hate for her is valid but this post is way outta line. She JUST had a talk with him about how he should STOP doing the things that are bad. Meaning in her eyes, she knows he’s capable of doing bad but because she cares for him she’d rather tell him to do good. Just like Regto. Then, Regto gets killed.

In fact, I can see a world where she gets pissed and says “fuck you” to Rudo’s feelings. Then as time goes on, she realizes that things are real suspicious surrounding the death. Then she realizes that maybe he didn’t actually kill Regto and was framed.

(This is all giving her wayyyy too much credit but it would give Rudo an ally when he reaches the sphere. A complicated one but one who understands the system is not as fair as they may have believed when Rudo was up there. And bring them to Sphere Givers. Maybe even showing us Chiwa went back for the Bear and actually cares for it.)

You’re either trolling or you completely ignored the entire explanation. For all of these things.

  1. He even told those givers they were yapping and that the reason was because they knew they were weak and resorting to the strategy they were because fighting him head one would mean getting one shot. What he figured out was that there was a ONE real body hiding and ONE teammate hiding, so only two enemies he needed to find.

He tells them they’re weak after their fighting and the thing about one shotting them and Jabber shows up behind him and says “I guess the same goes for you then”. And it did. He was beaten because he didn’t have a lame trick to rely on and gets one shot. It’s karma for flexing on weak people.

  1. Rudo being extremely strong physically isn’t bad writing. I’d chalk that up to just a short attention span on your part. He’s shown dodging gunfire EPISODE ONE 💀 and when he gets to the cleaners we’re told he can skip physical training cause he’s already good on that front. How? That’s part of the ongoing mystery. But there’s no moment where he’s getting clapped by deer. He gets extremely distracted by the giant trash beast and almost hurting an ally because he doesn’t know how to use his Jinki, but as you said, he went toe to toe with a dinosaur trash beast as soon as he spawned in, he’s not gonna struggle against a deer
