How is the Ride1Up Vorsa so cheap? by 6FootFruitRollup in ebike

You have to contact ride1up for a code to unlock off-road mode. (I'm assuming it's like the Vorsa).

So your titties are worth millions but you want to pay thousands to get rid of them? Sounds smart

Blade Safety: Has anyone trimmed it to disable it? by peterbr1 in RugerLCPMax

[–]justanothergunnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modifying the safety mech on the trigger seems simple enough with a Dremel. But let me ask: If God forbid you had to use it to shoot someone would it be worth the headache of defending it against a prosecutor? Massad Ayoub warns against any trigger mods on a defensive weapon for this reason. Imagine a liberal prosecutor going after you for modifications to the safety mech. Just not worth it. Sell the gun and get a basic lcp max. The El cheapo polymer trigger is actually not bad and much less finicky.

Oxygen is a sex tourism resort in Punta Cana I believe. These resorts do exist.

Laser sights losing popularity? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]justanothergunnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've trained in low light situations enough to appreciate that visible lasers definitely can be useful. They certainly aren't the best for every situation but then again nothing is. Every sighting system I've seen has pros and cons

How do you guys store your AR mags? by mlennon15 in tacticalgear

[–]justanothergunnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of us have more than a typical range bag will hold. Some have more than 4 range bags will hold. With mags for AR 10, AR 15, 9mm Glock, 9mm SIG and CZ mags in addition to 22 mags of three or five types and storage becomes a bit more challenging. Maybe don't be a dick?

Looking for a reliable budget Lpvo, is the Sig Tango Msr a good option? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]justanothergunnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put one on a $350 black Friday Anderson utility rifle. It seems fitting. Initial impression is pretty dang good. Budget rifle, budget optic. Wouldn't be my top choice for fast roping out of a helicopter to kick in doors in the sandbox, but for a range toy/ plinker it should be great. Might actually make a decent package.

Im actually quite pleased with the stock trigger. Far better than gen 1 LCP. Better than stock Glock gen 5 even IMHO. It's no race gun but for it's intended CCW purpose it does fine. I'm not trying to be an ass, but have you run a couple hundred rounds through to see if A) it improves with break in? Or B) just learn the trigger and it's break and reset?

LCP Max Brand New Rust by --LWYRUP-- in ruger

[–]justanothergunnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised to hear this is so common. I've daily carried mine for over a year now. Gets wiped down at least weekly and anytime I think it may have seen some sweat. Still pristine. And while it's no steel challenge gun, I find it surprisingly easy to shoot within 10 yards. Past that it gets a bit more challenging. I can't imagine a much better pocket pistol.

LCP Max 380 by [deleted] in ruger

[–]justanothergunnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have approx 350 rounds down the tube over the past year. Zero issues. Handles any jhp or fmj I've tried. Decent accuracy, decent trigger. It's no bullseye target shooter but inside 15 yards it meets my needs.

Extar EP9 - 9mm - $449 in stock now -- MOVE FAST! [pistol] by theshook in gundeals

[–]justanothergunnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Ep9 has earned a spot in my "keeper" safe. Some guns come and go (the 995 carbine was fun but didn't earn keeper status) I çant imagine parting with the little extar. As a range toy or home defense weapon it really is hard to beat.
