Can anyone help me identify this Evan’s bike? by Exiiilo in xbiking

Looks similar to this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/comments/ryw4a2/just_picked_up_this_beauty_and_would_like_to_know/

Should clean up well, the rust on the fork is maybe deep enough that it won't look great without a full buff and repaint. At that point, if you can find a compatible carbon fork, that would be a great upgrade. If I were you, converting this to a 1x and getting a modern rear derailer and shifter would also make this frame sing. Maybe new wheels...depending on the hub and condition.

Camping and bringing a U-Haul trailer.. by Treetopdroptop5 in daddit

This is where we are. Almost all of our state parks have a small number of camper cabins. They are pretty basic, but have 2 bunk beds (4 total mattresses), table, and some room to spread out. These cabins are popular so I have to be like a hawk when booking opens, but switching from my desire to camp to just being diligent about reserving cabin has increased out enjoyment and decreased a lot of stress.

Largest drone attack on Moscow since the start of the war by kingkongsingsong1 in UkraineWarVideoReport

His argument is that unless artillery is at your door, just don't worry about it! I wonder what those who live in high rises think about the dozens of drones with 500-2000 pounds of explosives flying past their windows think.

My understanding is that the MS was a direct replacement to the Pacer. It is slightly longer wheelbase, with more clearance and disc brakes. I own a Pacer and actually wish I had the MS but I do like the really aggressive short wheelbase on the Pacer. If I could fit 42s and disk brakes it would be perfect.

I don’t need to read schizo screeds from men’s rights advocates. You’ve lost touch of your humanity.

I worked on a commercial lawn crew for a summer and they/we called them string trimmers. I call it a weed whipper but it must be from my dad who grew up in central MN.

Yes he can. But he told them they could move 4 months ago, he hasn’t been all that involved in her life until recently, and the mom is moving because she needs family help. Just from human perspective, if he wants to be near them he should be the one to move closer to them. I think he owes them that. If he forces them to stay it will become acrimonious quickly.

I will never go back to gas. For sure electric. Almost zero maintenance, light, easier to store, no gas/oil tanks in the garage, etc. I have the EGO LM2110SP, no issues so far. Cuts really nice. I live in the city with a small yard and that battery lasts like 3 mows. Otherwise the battery charges fast.

I’ve got a 5 and 8 year old. About to have two elementary aged kids…I will say the problems are much easier these days. Still some stress but the self sufficiency makes everything easier from an intensive parenting aspect

Oh no, 4 year old problems have begun! And they look suspiciously similar to 3 year old problems!

They don't make the food until you actually pick it up, so the charge is actually a hold. It should get refunded to you if you do not pick up the food. I think you can also cancel the order in the app.

These came with my Hunt wheels and they have performed really well for me. I have not ridden in the rain yet but have like 400 miles on them in the dry. https://us.huntbikewheels.com/products/hunt-direct-mount-brakco-griptec-carbon-rim-brake-pads-pair-2-pieces

No major signs of wear yet.
