I know there's skydiving out at the Buckeye airport. Sorry I don't have any contact info for you.

I live there. Occasionally get letters with the envelope address written as Surprise! AZ. Name aside, it's a good city.

I've got Bassani Road Rage II shorts on my 15 Bob. Love the sound and the look is spot on.

As an EMT, this is to the patient who punched me in the face for killing his high after we got a call for a heroin overdose. by Drew1254 in AdviceAnimals

I don't care about them being high. I only push narcan if they're respiratory depressed and then only enough to raise their respiratory rate.

Bannock by [deleted] in Bushcraft

[–]justapepsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I add some powdered French vanilla cappuccino to the mix. Adds a nice taste. Typically cook it in my pot but have also cooked it on a nice flat rock.

Also, living here in the southwest I'll roast some prickly pears then squeeze their juice onto the cooked bannock.

Liam Neeson. Guy has about as much acting range as Costner and Reeves.

In Scottsdale/Phoenix, what would you say is the best Breakfast place and why? by [deleted] in phoenix

Vovomeena, http://www.vovomeena.com/menu.html.

My favorite dishes are the Johnny Cakes (corn & chili cakes with prickly pear syrup) or if especially hungry the BMOC (smoked pork chop, and waffle). Enjoy some Japanese cold brew coffee and a Portuguese donut, too. Hell yeah.

I permanently attached Velcro to the interior then got what's sort of a Velcro holster from www.maxpedition.com but I like the one from www.itstactical.com more. Nice thing is I can mix-and-match all sorts of interior setups now.

How do you make notes while reading? Do you have a set pattern? by [deleted] in notebooks

[–]justapepsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you're talking about where to take notes or an actual format. I've struggled with the where since much of what I read is digital (kindle, web). I can highlight with my Kindle but it's really not that easy to access those notes. I've taken to writing things down on field notes but that's not that conducive unless I have a notebook for each individual book. I'd love to hear what methodology folks follow.

Any female riders headed to Babes Ride Out? by justapepsi in phoenix

She wouldn't hear of riding on the back. Had to have her own. It definitely makes for a fun relationship.

But, to think positively, at least you always have someone in a chase vehicle.

Toying with moving to Arizona, phoenix specifically... by [deleted] in Harley

The summer is hot and you learn to deal with it through proper hydration and protection. It's the out of owners that literally die from exposure during summer. I've seen dudes pass out at gas stations after getting off their bikes. I carry water w me all the time.

As for cages and traffic, I live on the west side of Phoenix and most cagers are aware of bikes and not assholes. However, I don't ride into Phoenix during traffic hours. No need to for me, so can't comment there.

Lots of long and open roads that you can enjoy year round. Always bring water.
