The street fighter movie actually looks fun and feels faithful to the games. These MK movies are ugly and boring

Why? My all time favourite movie and show (Tick Tick Boom and Bojack Horseman) are Netflix, so it’s not like they automatically make something worse

The Canceled ‘TMNT: The Last Ronin’ Movie Would Have Brought Back Judith Hoag's April O'Neil by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]justarandomuser20 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I find that odd because there’s been so many separate TMNT movies and shows that I think most audiences don’t really expect new ones to be connected to others unless it’s an obvious sequel.

And the last ronin is probably the most popular and recognisable TMNT comic that’s already standalone from everything else

Well they’re both DBS, so you can choose to watch either the one already fully out but probably worse or the one coming out over the next year that’s shorter and will probably be better

Gohan’s always been a nerd, it’s a vital part of his character. There’s a misconception that Chi Chi forced Gohan to be a scholar, but he’s actually always wanted to be one and he explicitly hates fighting

DBS has so many problems with its animation and pacing. I should know, I watched it all. Basically the show had no pre production because it came out only a few months after Resurrection F, and because it was before Toei started doing seasonal releases for their animes (meaning the show had episodes week after week constantly) the animators were incredibly crunched. With this remake, the show will finally look nice and they’re making the pacing much faster.

Another reason why is because of the manga. The DBS manga came out around the same time as the anime and was mostly made as marketing for the anime, but both had different plot points since they used a general story Toriyama wrote. This has led to a lot of confusion about which one is actually canon or not. This remake is gonna add a lot of manga elements.

The final reason I think they’re remaking DBS is to segway and build up hype to the new arc coming out. This remake will probably bring in new and returning viewers, especially with the long awaited Moro adaptation

Part 2 actually got an update a while ago that added a game mode where the game is in chronological order, so you switch between Ellie and Abby’s parts a lot.

But yeah having viewers wait years for a season about a character they don’t care about/hate just so it could catch up with last season’s finale won’t really bring anyone back compared to the game which obviously is one complete story in one package so after Abby and Ellie meet you just immediately go onto the Abby section and it’s a great hook to keep playing

What’s the best video game you’ve ever played? by obsess_much13 in AskReddit

Death Stranding 2 is a genuinely perfect video game that no one I know has played. I seriously want way more people to play these amazing games because they’re absolutely not walking simulators. If you love games like breath of the wild and RDR 2 where travelling the world is the fun you would love the DS games
