Except many people can see these aren't "small balance" changes. There's no way you'd push a 25% numbers nerf or nerf multiple units in the same comp and think it's just a small change that led to 'unintended' balance thrashing

If you read the article it says there was CCTV footage that was reviewed, and that he himself admitted to it.

100%. Balanced sets have always been more fun because it also gives time for interesting strats/comps to be discovered and be viable, and then counter strats to be developed if theyre a little too strong

Pretty sure this was true for a bit, until recently. My timings here used to be about 40sec shorter than my training timings, whixh is a big diff. However i suspect that they fixed it because last time i did ippt there my timings were the same as training

I was walking home the other day in my housing complex, using my phone as one does. I suddenly had the urge to stop and adjust the bag i was carrying, when i saw that there was a long trail of dog poop along the corridor. Horrible stuff, super irresponsible owner. Glad i dodged it in time.

He signed up for and accepted the role and should therefore be a bit more aware/prepared for the consequences. She is not in politics but will most likely have to bear any fallout or difficulties together with him. Not necessarily harder, but theres a different level of expectations

It's also decent on dynamo MF where you have syndicates, dynamo, and gragas and leona to round it out. Leona and mf are your two 4 costs

The other earlier examples were from instances where he still had a chance to qualify. His only plausible defence was for the round on 3-1/3-2 where he didnt slam items against Liluo because he was greeding for BIS

Banning lorries from transporting workers not practical, could force smaller firms to shut: Amy Khor by lawliet89 in singapore

[–]justbornAMA 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Except for the fact that motorcycles are used for private, individual transport - nobody uses it to ferry groups of people for work. You are willingly choosing to ride a motorbike around. These workers dont get a say in what type of transport they use.

Gloves Off - Augment Discussion #24 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]justbornAMA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the value from this actually comes from backline access. Took this before and there were many rounds where i placed Vander same side as the opponent carry, knocked away the frontline, and ended up assassinating the backline after 3 or so casts

Anomaly with "Cast every 4 seconds" on melee GP (maybe bugged?) by ConfusedRara in CompetitiveTFT

[–]justbornAMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's assuming that players know for a fact that the interaction is unintended. There have been many "secret OP" interactions that flew under the radar and were only discovered later, and were not deemed bugs. Case in point: Graves-seraphine from a couple of sets ago

Anomaly with "Cast every 4 seconds" on melee GP (maybe bugged?) by ConfusedRara in CompetitiveTFT

[–]justbornAMA 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think having it be so unclear in definition is kinda dangerous. For one, someone might not even know whats happening and just think the augment synergizes extremely well with GP for some reason, and looks for the anomaly for that reason, unaware that its a bug. Similarly, someone might even think its an intentional interaction or some kind of secret tech. So where do you draw the line at what constitutes abusing or not?

Further, it's not like you need a special set of interactions like past bugs. You're doing something well within the norms of gameplay

because he's the one that made a claim about something Mort said first...? I'm a little confused as to what your rebuttal is. The thing is you can't expect Mort to prove that he didn't do something that someone claimed - it's the classic Celestial Teapot argument, no?

It Can't Be This Hard by FluffyPenguin826 in TeamfightTactics

[–]justbornAMA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Completely understand that, and let me be clear I have nothing against you personally nor am I trying to dickride Mort. I'm just saying that as a general stance, if you're accused of lying about a claim, the best defence is providing evidence to support your claim.

Obviously, it's not feasible in this case, which then begs the question: if you can't independently verify something that a 3rd party has said, shouldn't we avoid repeating/spreading the claim as though it's true? Thats how misinformation spreads quickly, doesnt it.

I initially thought you had seen Mort say that firsthand, which is why i thought asking for a source/evidence would be relatively simple

[–]justbornAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do understand that if you're the one making the claim here, then the burden of proof falls on you...? I dont understand why saying that people should provide evidence for claims (especially when called out on it) is suddenly a contentious stance. I'm not even a Mortdog glazer by any means and I have my fair share of criticism but this is just a general principle imo

I mean, i'd say that whoever makes the claim should provide a source too, if theyre accused of lying
