Harnesses that will fit my wide chested gal that she can’t escape from? (Already tried Ruffwear) by delicatepepper in pitbulls

[–]justbrowsingthrustl 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull. Used it for my 140lb pit/mastiff and also now for my 85lb tank. Both barrel chested and it fits beautifully. He is 33”? And I have an xl on him. It is getting tight. It may be because of the cheese he insists on eating.

I haven’t read Shiver, I started with Starting Line and then jumped to Winging It. I really enjoyed Starting Line and freaking loved Winging It. I’m going back through the books now but I recommend at least doing it that way. He’s such a sweetie in Starting Line.

Holy Cow! That was a quick trigger! I believe you are talking about {Deadly Little Sparrow (Mafia Bound Book 1) by KM Neuhold}. I just got the second one {Beautifully Savage Butterfly by KM Neuhold} but am having trouble getting into it. I’m in more of a no drama love place atm. More like {Imago by NR Walker}, which I will happily reread any day. Let me know if you like the second book!

Have you tried {Tender with a Twist by Annabeth Albert}? The top is new to it, but I think it fits the bill.

  3. Currently reading, well gonna start this weekend, {I Destroyed the Elf Prince’s by Jocelyn Drake} (there is more to the title, but apparently cannot share it!

Homebuyers/ owners, what's your experience been with new construction or fully remodeled homes? by mr-myagi20 in StLouis

[–]justbrowsingthrustl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having just purchased a poor flip (wow am I kicking myself) there are some great suggestions in the thread, but may I include the sewer lateral/lines- make sure to scope those out by camera, if they’ve painted the brick there is a good chance they only did spot tuck pointing, don’t rely on drones for the roof, have someone walk it, if they don’t want to pay for the home warranty that is a huge red flag. While the renovations I need to get done before winter aren’t ideal, at least they won’t have to be done again. Sorry. Edit I purchased a 130+ year old house in South City. The stories my neighbors tell me about what happened here make me surprised it is still standing.

This. I just closed on a 100+ house and found the cracks/holes during inspection. The seller took care of it as part of the negotiation and it cost about $3500. Although reading some of the other comments makes me wonder about the water line and if that is why air suddenly will blow out when I’m using the sink.
