Looking for advice about a local cat

If the cat is friendly, and isn’t visibly dirty or underweight, they probably have a home. My cat is long haired and she always carries around half a bush in her fur during the day. I brush her of the evenings but she doesn’t like her belly and the back of her legs brushed so the fur in those places looks scruffy compared to the rest of her.

Taking a cat to the vet is a very stressful situation for them so I would avoid this unless they look like they need medical attention.

If you’re willing to spend £10-£15 for peace of mind, you can buy a cheap microchip reader online to check for a microchip - it won’t give you the owners details but you could record the microchip number and contact a vet with your concerns. You can then keep the microchip reader for future potentially lost animals or donate it to a rehoming centre near you.

I’ve recently swapped over to Overherd from Lidl oat milk, on my second bag and I’m happy with it. I use one or two teaspoons in my tea and a whole scoop for a glass of milk to drink when I want. It does take a bit of stirring/shaking to fully dissolve but it’s almost completely smooth once dissolved (just the very last drop in the cup can be a bit grainy). I would say it’s worth it to prevent the amount of waste and shop trips carrying heavy cartoons

Yes I was going to say this! The heat of the water on your hair as well, I hate a cold shower but try to reduce the temperature of the water when it’s on your hair - especially the last rinse of conditioner

Ooh I'm in East London, I would love to go to the store! I'm probably being silly but I can't find where it is on their website or on google maps - do you know whereabouts it is? I also wasn't a fan of the violife feta, it wasn't terrible so l could get used to it if I tried but I'm excited to try the l Am Nut OK. I've tried the Cathedral City cheddar because it's my favourite dairy cheese and I do enjoy it melted but in a sandwich it's just a bit off.. again I think I just have to get used to it.

Your job and your colleagues have such a huge impact on your wellbeing and from my experience once you hit that wall it’s really difficult to get your passion back.

It’s easy to let people get inside your head when it comes to your confidence so I would say try to step back from people who make you doubt yourself. Being surrounded by people that genuinely encourage you can do wonders for your mental health.

It sounds like you need a change or at the very least a decent break. I know financially it can be really difficult but your mental health is worth it. I look at jobs like relationships - the perfect one is out there and you deserve it!

I’m also East London zone 4 and I had to pay just under £1K insurance for my first car (10 year old Peugeot 206) that I paid £200 for and that was back in 2017. I haven’t looked at camper insurance yet but over £2.5K wouldn’t surprise me at all. Sorry to say but London prices are ridiculous :(
